So Apparently I forgot to cancel my subscription - I saw the charge come through around 2am. I filled out a support request in the app and submitted it - no more than 5 minutes later I received a personal (not canned) reply from a real person letting me know they processed the refund and cancelled my subscription. Really a major step above everyone else as far as customer service goes. Really impressive.

I didn’t use the app, but when I complained about how I was billed for no usage, they were professional enough to refund all my amounts without any argument. I will give them a go again.

Here is my experience with Smarte-me: it is quite detailed in case you live the same terrible experience. Everything said below is true and I am available to Trust pilot team to show the documents to prove it.
- 26 April 2026 , i ordered a digital book (after seen an add of SmartyMe in Facebook) for 15.69€ and they were supposed to send me a code to access it. But i never received it despite many contact with customer care that said "we escalated the issue you encountered to our technical team. They will be conducting a thorough investigation to determine the root cause and implement a resolution as soon as possible. We will keep you updated".
- 4th may 2026, after many exchange the refunded 15.69€ and confirmed by mail that " First of all, let me please assure you that your subscription has been canceled, so there won’t be any future renewals or charges. I am also happy to inform you that a refund of the 15.69 EUR transaction made on 26 April was processed as well!"
- 29th May 2026: I did not noticed immediately, but they took 20,64€ directly in my bank account
- 21 June 2026: they tried from Ireland to retrieve 40.26€ directly in my bank account. It was blocked by my bank. They tried again from the Netherlands and they succeeded to stole 40.26€
As a conclusion, my experience was very bad and i am now convinced this is not an honest organization. Be carreful as their customer care service is very polite and reactive but behind this, it is just a way to get your bank account and stole every months some amount of money (different each time)

It’s a great platform. I really like the material and the style of communication from the company. From what I can tell they are a group of people who really want to make life better for others by helping us learn to communicate more effectively.
My schedule was busier than expected this quarter and so I stopped my membership for now. I got a sincere we appreciate you cancellation letter and real communication from human about options to renew in the future if I ever decided to. Great experience with a great company look forward to coming back when my schedule is less busy.
