Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 134 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported that customer service is completely non-existent, leaving them stuck with automated chat bots and facing extreme difficulties when trying to get timely responses or actual human help. Buyers also experienced severe frustration regarding missing deliveries, delayed shipments, and the complicated process of securing refunds for unfulfilled orders. Some reviewers were happy with the overall product quality and found certain support agents to be exceptionally helpful once they finally managed to connect with someone directly. Other users highlighted that the audio performance and noise cancellation features are truly fantastic when the items work properly.

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time. I bought a pair of headphones, after 10 months they stopped pairing, so I filled in a laborious warranty claim and paid to send them back and got another pair the same - but same problem. I think Skullcandy must know full well the headphones are not compatible with Android devices. I contacted them through Live Chat (the only way to contact them) and they insisted all I could do was file another warranty claim (paying again for postage) and they would send me another pair... which of course would have the same problem.

Update of terrible service

Update: Following my original review, a member of the customer service team, Raffy, took ownership of my case and I would like to thank him. He was professional, understanding and genuinely tried to resolve the issues I had experienced. He is a credit to Skullcandy.
Unfortunately, my overall experience with Skullcandy has remained extremely disappointing.
I received two pairs of Method 360 ANC earbuds, both of which arrived with the same fault. They would randomly switch off, disconnect, reconnect, pause and restart music, and repeatedly enter pairing mode, making them unusable. As an experienced IT professional, I carried out extensive troubleshooting across multiple devices and environments before concluding the issue was with the product itself. Also there are many hundreds of reviews on different sites describing the same fault, even the advert for them on their facebook page. Having since purchased Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, which have worked flawlessly from the outset, I am even more confident the fault lay with the Method 360 ANC.
The biggest frustration has been the customer support process. The AI chatbot repeatedly directed me to a returns page that did not work, could not escalate my issue to a human adviser, and there was no facility to report the website fault. Even now, selecting "Speak with human agent" causes the website to crash, leaving no reliable way to contact support.
I was also disappointed to be told initially that I would have to pay £10.95 to return headphones that had arrived faulty. Under UK consumer law, customers should not normally be left out of pocket for the reasonable cost of returning faulty goods. Although reimbursement was later agreed, I am still trying to clarify whether this has actually been paid separately, as my PayPal account appears to show it has simply been deducted from the purchase refund rather than reimbursed in addition. With no way to contact the company, I am left without my promised full return of the purchase price plus the postage of the first pair of headphone. I have emailled Brian Garofalow
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Andrew Carter - Senior Vice President, Operations Tim Vidmar -Senior Director, Business Operations, they have failed to reply.
As someone with a physical disability, spending many hours troubleshooting faulty products, navigating broken support systems and repeatedly chasing a resolution has had a significant impact on me and unnecessarily exacerbated my symptoms.

Ive just had a stressfull couple of weeks due to Evri losing my warranty return. I contacted customer service to cancel my return as it wouldnt be coming and Hanna was quick to respond. She was sympathetic and asked for all the tracking info I had to check on the parcel. They honored my warranty even with the item being lost.

I have now reordered a new product and am very happy with the service I have been provided

Bought a set of 360 anc about 6 months…

Bought a set of 360 anc about 6 months ago, needed to claim on warranty as the bud had started to come apart exposing the inside. I reached out to warranty who told me to send them back to skullcandy with the email printed in the package. A few days later an email through with a code to use on the website to the going value of the product to purchase replacement. I ordered them on amazon in a sale for £69.99 but got a voucher code of £100 as the current price on there website is £99.99.
Re ordered with the code and delivery is also covered. The headphones sound great partnered with bose, the bass and noise cancelling work very well. Hopefully no issues with this second pair.

Completely unreachable

Completely unreachable. I have a pair of Hesh® Evo Wireless Headphones I bought in 2024 which have now come apart at the edge of the ear cushion. I am unsure if the faux leather has ripped or the plastic has separated and the edge of the fabric has come loose. They are otherwise completely functional and I do not want to replace them, I just want to fix them. I wanted to ask how to fix them but all I can get in terms of customer service is a link to a Replacement Parts page that just says they don't offer any (and as far as I know never have, as this was also an issue in 2024 which is why I had to replace my last pair of Skullcandy headphones, so I don't know why they even have that page) and an AI bot that just keeps telling me to buy ear cushions on Amazon (which could be made of anything and unsafe for something that is touching my face) and that they're unrepairable and refuses to let me contact an actual human in any way.

The AI bot finally gave me an email, which when contacted just auto-replied "the purpose of this email is to process requests for customer data to be removed from Skullcandy data and marketing" and said they'd remove my data but would not be replying. It is entirely insane that there is apparently zero way to contact ANYONE at this company. No email. No human chat option. Not even a phone number. JUST an AI. All I want is a way to ask about repairing my £90 headphones instead of having to replace them every two years but apparently that's not an option.

I will not be buying from Skullcandy again.

Edit: Skullcandy have replied saying to contact their chat representatives that they DO NOT HAVE. This is beyond a joke, just absolute incompetence. Do not use this company.

Returning headphones under warranty

My headphones were still under warranty and had broken so I contacted the company to return them for a repair.

The first return address I was given was in Georgia USA and Royal mail quoted me £57 to send them.

I recontacted the company who provided a uk address with a postage fee of £5 recorded.

It would have been easier if the company had a free post envelope to send out for returns and would have saved me alot of messing about with a young disabled child in tow.

Anyway I then lost the tracking number , so recontacted the company who finally agreed to a full refund/ code to purchase some new ones off their website which was perfect as I desperately wanted the headphones. Just working ones.

All in all the actual product is amazing. However the process to claim on the warranty is lengthy and costly to the buyer. The customer service was brilliant , given id lost the tracking number and they still provided a full refund to purchase a new headphones set.

Terrible

How the hell fo you get hold of these people!!!

Every angle of contact comes back with an error!!!

Any sensible suggestions!!
I have sent several emails, no one has got back to me.
I’ve been on the chat bot, that’s giving a ticket number and still nobody has replied to me.

I placed an order which I wish to cancel. As it was a pre-order so it wasn’t due to arrive for sometime was told that I couldn’t cancel it even though it’s not been sent out. The parcel was due to be arriving the middle of June towards the end of June.

This morning I get notifications that the parcel is actually being delivered today!!!!

I actually got through to a human agent that was quite rude to me, told me to claim the money back from my bank!!!
No other sensible advice.

I would not order anything directly from Skullcandy, as there is no human interaction no number to call. Nobody gets back to you via email or otherwise.

If you want skull candy products, I would just source them from another retailer that you can communicate with.

I’m very disappointed with the lack of Customer Service!!!!

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, nobody has reached out to me at all. To sort a resolution out.

Not worth the trouble

Brought a pair of earbuds, stopped working, sent them back waited for 9 days without a word from skullcandy, chatting online with the robot everyday trying to get an update and got nowhere apart from tickets being created, waste of time that was and the finally got help from rhyan b, who sorted out my voucher so I can buy my third pair of earbuds. Wish I could just get my money back and be done with skullcandy, but cant get a refund always a voucher so im stuck with them.

However, dave from skullcandy did contact me and did everything he could to solve my problems, and im more then happy with how it was dealt with so 5 stars for that, dave really went above and beyond so i would definitely buy from them again even with the troubles I've had

Have two different pairs (earplugs and headphones) from this brand.
Have never been able to write a review on their webpage even though I bought them from there.
Wasn’t allowed to do a return when I received the product I wasn’t happy with because they don’t allow exchanges after some days, same as you can’t write a review on their page/products.
I lost one of my earbuds to find out skullcandy will not sell replacements so had to but from another source, I still haven’t been able to pair them.
Well this week my headphones which are about 6-7 months old, the right side has completely stopped working. Again, accessing their webpage to see that my order number has disappeared. When try to fill the form of the warranty on their webpage it freezes so no way to continue. When trying to contact, even if its only a IA chat, this isn’t working either.
I feel that for selling expensive products that don’t even last a year, you should at least be more accessible for people to contact.
Now I don’t even want a replacement. Im never buying skull candy again and since you don’t want to listen/ read people’s experience or respond, I will make sure to leave reviews everywhere possible to warn others. Avoid, spend your money elswhere!

Lousy customer service

Ordered headphones on 21st April , due to deliver on 23rd- not arrived constantly fobbed off by AI chat which raised ticket after ticket with no response. Request to talk to someone results in no one available and yet another ticket raised. Lousy customer service!

Even worse they have answered me, with completely the wrong answer- never had faulty earbuds. 😂 You have to
Laugh or you would indeed cry at the ineptitude of this company.

No way to contact customer service

Changed stars from 1 to 3 only after issue with discount was resolved. Still not happy about difficulty to contact customer service.
Ordered earbuds and the discount code from the product page was not applied. Only way to contact is so called 'live chat' which is an AI bot with no help at all. It says no way to contact to live agent.

I ordered a new pair of the same…

I ordered a new pair of the same headphones I already have due to ear pad deterioration and the sale, but everything about the new pair is worse quality. The sound is nowhere near as crisp and the materials used feel cheap and low quality. I contacted customer services about returning them and they said I would have to pay out of pocket and refused to acknowledge the issues with quality. After a few messages they just stopped responding to the live chat whilst I sat and waited for half an hour for a response. All this after I already forgave an incident years ago where my headphones stopped working within 12 months so I followed the instructions to return them and never received any acknowledgement of the return, no refund, no replacement pair, nothing. Will definitely be getting my headphones from a different company going forward

No customer service available since aug 2025

I have a question for a real person to help me with. Since August 2025 they have removed anyway of being able to contact a person, including email. There's not even a way to submit feedback through their chat bot. It's deeply upsetting to have all customer service removed from a consumer company. AI just doesn't cut it. It should be illegal.

I am beyond disappointed in skullcamdy these past 2 years, I ordered the new anc2s they were faulty, I sent my order back, it got lost, they gave me a voucher after months of trying to contact them, and the product I bought with the voucher broke just being left on my shelf untouched since I used the earbuds but broke nun the less and when I look up returning this faulty order I come to find that instead of the usual warranty, I get less than a month to return the new order, they've taken the piss out of me for the last time, I will now be a D1 hater of the company, the tech is fun but the business is scummy I would never recommend anyone buy from the website, the communication is nonexistent
