Octavia fail - ruined Christmas
On our way to my parents for Christmas 2020 our beloved Octavia lost engine power. After a mechanic had taken a look at it, the verdict was: a new engine would be the “cheapest” solution. It’s 6 years old and has only done 150.000 km.. that is not a lot!!!. The mechanic in question and several others have never heard of this before and we really thought that a Skoda Octavia was reliable!!!. Guess not.
After e-mailen to Skoda Auto I found out that they will do nothing as long as the assesment of the car wasn’t done be a Skoda mechanic.. so now I have to pay to get the car towed to a Skoda shop and probably pay to get them to check the car again!!!! INSANE!. Is that how Skoda treats their customers???.
We have no choice but to sell the car.. and we f***ing loved that car!!!!!
