Alice was super helpful with advising me next steps on how to close my LISA and withdraw funds for the purchase of my first home. I know sometimes talking to people online can be difficult and not as smooth as talking to someone on the phone but Alice was extremely helpful and quick to give me what I needed.

Well the lady was friendly but came on to seek advice how to check outstanding balance on mortgage, had to register online, complete registration on the app, but you can't actually complete this as the verification code needs to be posted to you, so it wasn't a success as of yet.

I have a joint mortgage with Skipton and recently split up with my partner. The idea is for me to buy her out of the mortgage. I assumed 10 years of no payments missed payment and an excellent credit score I could Skipton would help me with with some equity along with my own funds, but they came up with some BS answer that even Financial advisor can't explain. But if I switch mortgage provider they will penalise me a 5 figure sum.

I had an online chat with advisor Adam about opening a new cash ISA account and transferring money from an old one. He was extremely helpful and prompt with his answers. I followed his advice and managed the transaction online with no further help needed.

Does anyone else get this or is it just me? Whenever I go into a branch to withdraw money I'm always asked, "are you buying anything nice"? This is a very sly sales tactic that is clearly a way to find out if you are going to reinvest elsewhere, in which case staff can give you the hard sell to try and persuade you to stay with them! Every single time I go into branch this happens. It's none of your business what I do with my money! Maybe next time I'll reply by asking if they're going to buy anything nice when they get paid! I'm so fed up of it I'm going to close my accounts and go elsewhere, so no doubt I'll be asked the same question yet again!!!!!!
