We have done two trips with Saddle Skedaddle. The C2C and Oban to Inverness. Both trips were excellent. The route was well chosen and navigation was very easy. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. The accommodation was generally good, my only wish is the option to upgrade places to stay.

I couldn't rate Saddle Skedaddle highly enough. I've done a few cycling holidays where I've booked our own accommodation and one of the best things about using this company was the sheer variety of places we stayed at- from quite plush spa hotels to family run agritourismo's. All staff we engaged with could not have been more helpful. For instance on one day we had freak rain, so they picked us, bags & bikes up, took us to Pula, the last stop on the trip & let us have the bikes for a further day so we didn't miss out. The fact that we were self guided also worked well. The Ride with GPS files were brilliant, giving an audio alert when for instance a turn was coming up. Great holiday.

We had a fantastic trip with Saddle Skedaddle. It was our first self-guided trip, and all the details were taken care of perfectly. I would highly recommend the Coast 2 Coast self-guided cycling holiday!

Well organised, decent accomodation, excellent itinerary. Guides helpful. Food good. Kirkpatrick C2C is a must do for average cyclists wanting an interesting route that is a very doable but rewarding challenge.

We had a wonderful experience on our Saddle Skedaddle holiday along Hadrian's Wall. It was so well organised from start to finish and we felt the whole team couldn't have done more to make it a great experience for us. We did the self-guided tour and found the GPS route easy to follow. Shortly before the trip, a member of our party developed a medical problem that affected their cycling, but the reassurance given before the holiday that additional support would be provided if there were problems on the ride gave us the confidence to embark on the journey, knowing everything would be OK. Lots of helpful information was shared on the transfer to the start point and we found the accommodation stops of a very high standard with friendly hosts who couldn't have been more helpful. It was the first time we'd booked an organised trip and we're very glad we did. It was a great experience overall and we all really enjoyed it. Thank you, Saddle Skedaddle!

What a fabulous week of riding. Great variety of terrain, amazing route. Guides were excellent. Would highly recommend. Will be doing it again sometime with Skeddadle. It's so nice to have a group of like minded people and have all ones needs sorted so all you have to do is stay upright on the bike, pedal and smile.

Wonderful short trip from Bowness to Tynemouth with Saddle Skedaddle. Great service, all very smooth. Picked up on time, info all clear, friendly support. Bikes in great condition, accommodation really well chosen. Will definitely go on a trip with them again.

Faultless service by Skedaddle on our C2C trip. This is the first time we've used a company to organise a cycling trip and move luggage, and we’ll definitely do it again. It gave me the confidence to try what I knew would be a challenging ride (the Pennines!) and I achieved it. Such peace of mind, knowing our bags were waiting for us at a nice B&B at the end of the day. No hassle whatsoever. Staff were friendly and efficient, plenty of information given up front. We used road bikes and the team were careful to make sure we understood that some sections might not be suitable – even providing a ‘road alternative’ for one section. No complaints.

I booked a UK trip with the company. I would suggest that you do your homework. We had a lovely group. The accommodation was good and most of the food was fine. Don't book extra nights accommodation through SS. You will pay up to 100% more in costs.

It's not clear who is causing logistical issues possibly the office and guides aren't communicating. They told us on the last night that they couldn't transfer us, despite being part of the trip bookings
I willnot use them again. Make your own mind up.

I had an incredible experience on the Coast to Coast self-guided cycle ride with Saddle Skedaddle! The organization and support throughout the trip were absolutely fantastic. Everything was meticulously planned, from the detailed route notes and GPX files to the flawless luggage transfers each day. The weather was unpredictable, having the freedom of being able to take plenty of changes of clothes and knowing the luggage would be transferred between stops, which allowed me to fully appreciate the stunning scenery and enjoy the ride.
The accommodation choices were brilliant—comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly situated for our journey. The bike I rented was good quality, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for the varied terrain. I felt completely supported, even on a self-guided tour. The team was always just a phone call away if I had any questions, and they were a pleasure to deal with.
This trip was a perfect blend of adventure and peace of mind. Saddle Skedaddle truly takes all the stress out of planning, allowing you to focus on the joy of cycling through some of the UK's most beautiful landscapes. We can't recommend them highly enough and are already looking forward to my next trip with them!

We recently completed Via Claudia. The scenery was outstanding - this was my first Austria summer experience and I wad amazed! Most of the ride was traffic free on smooth tarmac or gravel. Accommodation was first rate and the guides brilliant. Only complaint is that it rained an day 2!

Just done 5 days in the Brenta Dolomites. Probably my 20th or more trip with Skedaddle. Great holiday, a good blend of singletrack and off road. Naomi and the team always deliver and nothing is too much trouble. Accommodation and routes were top notch . Couldn’t ask for more.

My partner and I had an amazing time in the self guided tour Coasts and Castles. All the logistics were perfectly worked out so we never had to worry about luggage or whether our hotel would be up to snuff. The cycling was challenging but not too challenging and the scenery was outstanding. The staff were friendly and excellent at communicating. The directions were as detailed as you could want. Highly recommended. Would do it again and probably will.

Another fantastic trip with Saddle Skedaddle. This time the new King Alfred's Way route. Extremely well-organised as always. Great guides, excellent food and accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

Ahhhh Scotland ...... it never disappoints. And neither does Saddle Skedaddle! Just finished the Wild about Argyll earlier this month and I can honestly say that this is a LEGIT gravel experience. We had every kind of weather, midges, and re-routes due to storm damage. But this didn't stop Skedaddle staff from making this a most memorable cycling experience. Our accommodations were top-knotch and Portavadie was exceptional. I am already looking forward to next year's cycling tour! Thanks again Dave, Paul and Rob...you guys are the best!

We did the Cotswold Explorer self guided tour.Skedaddle were very professional and friendly. Quickly answered any questions we had. The local company, Bainton Bikes, that they used for hire bike and everything else required were excellent. They were always reachable in case of any problems during trip. We stayed in 4 hotels which were all of a high standard. Our luggage was always already at the next hotel when we arrived.
The downloaded route directions worked really well.
Going on our experience we would highly recommend Skedaddle.

Just completed the Spanish Pyrenees MTB trip - it was brilliant, with the most spectacular scenery and trails, excellent hotels and usual Skedaddle camaraderie with a great group. Dan, Russell and Antonio were first class guides making sure everything worked and adapting to circumstances as required. If you like the big mountains, I cannot recommend this trip more highly.
