dishonesty from the website to customer service
After spending over a grand with SK on a few large orders over the past year and 1/2, Ive received a good amount of items that had rips, stains & cracks that were not disclosed, but rather photographed In a manner that hides these stains & cracks, even right on the very front of an item. Soles of shoes being completely dehydrated; So much so that you take one step & hear the entire sole crumble under your feet. At a size M, mind you. So when I contacted them about a few items from my very last order that were completely unwearable; glasses a giant (clearly stretched out) crack on the front, Shoes that were dried up & falling apart, Coffee stains & rips in my cardigan, along with many other small stain and issues I just chose to try and deal with from multiple other orders ago.
It took a few weeks to actually get responses, but they agreed to a credit. When I finally used it before its expiration date (Which it should've never had), I placed an order that came to $100 (that's after the $65 credit applied), plus an extra $30 shipping fee, then 2 months go by & my package never arrives. They never contacted me, so I contacted them. 2 more weeks go by & they don't answer. So I contact them again. It takes them almost a month to answer me to let me know that I “did not pay an extra shipment fee,” so they would not send the package.
The fact that I had to contact them myself after months to find this out was upsetting.
The fact that it took them nearly a month to actually answer such simple emails like my order number or where the package has been left... was very confusing to me. I felt frustrated, being that I had a store credit with them, & also did actually pay $30 for shipping, only to be told months later that I need to pay again or they're gonna keep my package.
Which they did. They kept it. Besides items coming in worse condition than disclosed, I have never had these issues with this company, but of course, after emailing about faulty items... am I now unable to receive my package at all.
I am providing pictures how much of a hassle this was, as well as unwearable items from the previous order. 4 months of being nearly completely ignored, all for me to have to contact my own bank, due to these faulty business practices. Certainly stay away from ordering with this company.
Ps: Every item is listed as “in perfect condition”. Sk is very dishonest about this in the item descriptions now, Although they used to actually be much more transparent about good or fair conditioned items over a year ago. It’s a shame. Regardless, good luck !
