Stay away from this cowboy

Stay away from this cowboy, he botched everything he touched even drilled through electric cables on two occasions and couldn’t fix it because his firm does not employ qualified electricians, some thing I found out too late! My new wooden floor was completely covered in paint and we had to use an industrial cleaner to remove the mess. He glued “click laminate flooring” (not meant to be glued) so we can’t repair the botched parts, the stairs are, according to other workmen the worst they have ever seen, they used all wrong tools and materials, He fitted windows and doors all wonky so they couldn’t open, wallpaper was chewed and wrapped around the door frames😳, everything was covered in silicone and paint.
The entire company is a joke and has just hasn’t got the knowledge and skills to perform even the easiest tasks such as painting and decorating. He had 5 months to complete it and decided to do it in 3 weeks before my moving in date.
This was an obvious disaster (even he admitted it)
We had a dead line to meet and the plan was to meet up and do what we could however three days before this date they decided to take the weekend off and left my husband and I to trying to save it.
He always had some sort of emergency or other excuse why he couldn’t do this and that. He caused me a nervous breakdown and had to cancel holiday in order to make it look as best I could before the opening of my clinic. Then to add insult to injury he has the audacity to send me a bill for £15.300 ! All his so called work had to be ripped out and started from fresh.
I’m starting courts proceedings.
