Peugeot 2008 purchase

Kim helped us today when we made our purchase of our 2008 , he is so professional in what he does , made me and my wife feel at ease , no pressure from him , went out for test drive and loved the car , Kim explained everything about the vehicle whilst on the test drive , not just round the block but also on major road to feel it's response, 5star recommendation ,thanks kim

I can only give this company ( Northallerton Branch) a 5 Star review. I bought a second hand 508 Sw from them a few weeks ago.
From the bottom to the top all the staff have been helpful and pleasant to me the couple of times I have visited them.

The Parts Dept in Guisborough is a standing joke, they do
not reply to E mails at all when trying to order/source parts, I have now found it 100% better to visit my local Motor Factors to obtain spurious parts !!!!!

So Rude

Went in to book my car in for a service stood for 15mins while the service manager chats to someone on the phone from a different department not a customer.
It says on Simon Bailes website Customer Focused.

I dont think so, and looking at the reviews on here they need some training.

Took my car in for new brakes and disc…

Took my car in for new brakes and disc , everything went well until i arrived to collect my vehicle. I was greeted by the manager , Anthony , who took me to my car. Whilst it was parked it was reversed in to , ok these things happen , and they said they would contact me to arrange repair , not major damage caused but paint work and some body work needs to be done. 8 weeks later still awaiting the call to book in. I wouldn't mind the wait , however my car is due its MOT in a month , and i don't want it to fail its MOT , if there is serious damage behind where my car was hit. Not good enough ,Anthony seems to be always at the North Allerton branch , and guess what , apparently all lines are diverted to the Stockton branch

Booked my car in to fix an oil leak on…

Booked my car in to fix an oil leak on 16th August for a date of 3rd October. Took the car in to be told after £96 bill for checking the issue to take the car back and the service manager would call me to discuss the valve that needed replacing. One week on and no call despite my ringing them. Disgraceful! Will have the issue fixed by an independent garage.

I'd give a zero if I could

I'd give a zero if I could. I'll never go back to them. I'm severely disabled and am a Motability customer. I ordered a Peugeot 3008 GT Premium in 2022, with an advance payment of £3949. The car at the time of ordering came with the Focal sound system, panoramic sunroof, massage seats, heated seats and some other features.

The guy from the dealer told me the car wouldn't come with the power tailgate it should have due to the chip crisis at the time and I was ok with that.

I was promised the car would be delivered late in 2022, but I couldn't collect it until January 2023, despite it having been registered in September 2022.

The day before I was due to collect the car I got a phone call from a sales manager at the dealer telling me that I had to pay another £1750 on top of the £3949 that had been agreed, and was supposed to be locked in. This guy told me that the car had the panoramic roof, upgraded sound and lighting systems and the "black pack" which were all extras.

I tried to tell him that the £3949 was supposed to have been locked in, the features he was charging extra for were standard on the car at time of ordering, and no-one had mentioned about the car having the "black pack" at all.

This guy told me that if I didn't pay the extra £1750 he'd have the adaptations that allow me to drive removed and sell it as pre-registered instead. I already knew it had been pre-registered. He called me back later the same day to tell me he had spoken with Simon Bailes himself and that Simon had agreed that I could pay half of the £1750 on top of the £3949 to take delivery of the car. I felt I had no choice so agreed.

The next day when I collected the car I was presented with a bill of £4989, some £1040 more than the figure that had been agreed at ordering.

I soon realised that the car had missing features, which had not been mentioned, I was expecting the lack of a power tailgate but not the missing massage/heated seats among other things.

These people are con artists and prey on vulnerable people.

Keep away from this company first went…

Keep away from this company first went back in February because my car got recalled went down to the body shop in Northallerton where they took pictures and sent off to citroen but my self and citroen has been trying to contact them about when they are going to do the work but when spoke to after sale manager Peter Jones he was very rude and something what you would not expect from a after sale manager basically told me to F Off my advice is to keep away because you will be chasing them around to get the work done and giving abuse after I don't no how the run a business in this was

Last minute request for a service

Last minute request for a service due to another dealer letting me down. They simply couldn't do enough. Very, very impressed with both the Northallerton and the Stockton service departments. Service carried out quickly, efficiently and professionally. What more could I ask for. Simply awesome!!!

Saw a SKODA Fabia 17 reg,call the garage in Stockton if the car had a fish?The sales guy said yes 1 owner,fish,drove all the way down from Newcastle test drive the car and asked to show me the book.He was looking in the boot of the car ,in the office,nothing.put down £200 pounds deposit and promised to find the book.call on Monday and the car had one stamp on 2020,I said that is not fish and I don’t want the car.He said ok no problem I will refund the money,I called about 15 times and every time deferent lies!3 weeks today and no money!Never never again!do not trust them,not honest people.

Bought a 208 on the 11th of…

Bought a 208 on the 11th of November.had a few miles for a 17 reg.46k but was reflected in the ptice i guess.had a few cars from guisbrough branch over the years servive is normally very good.the mot ran out 4 months after we bought it and had to pay over 50 pounds to get a mot including afew bulbs etc.not sure what the mot warenty. Is for? But the biggest problem isthem being hire or lease cars the salespeople are very careful not to say anything buut iinn the small print it says there cars may of had multiple drivers etc.took it straight to audi to part ex but they wont touch it.also log book has no former keeper listed?? Seems strange.beware

Not to be trusted - tell lies and don’t care once you’ve brought the car

Not to be trusted - especially when the manager Glen promises to rectify all the problems on the car you’ve brought and he doesn’t. I’ve emailed, called and he simply fobs you off. I’d go to a garage that actually respects their customers not treat them so badly. M son saved his money to buy this car, his first, sadly we chose this garage. Biggest mistake ever!

My Company has used them for many year but no more

My Company has used them for many years but no more. The workshop and service staff are excellent, however despite us asking for aftermarket parts they continued to fit very high priced Citroen parts, their invoicing seemed to be made up as they went along with different prices for the same jobs and the person in their accounts department was arrogant and nasty, did not read our purchase terms of payment and was the worst advert for a garage you could have. We spent on average £5000 a year and we felt as if we did not matter.
