I visited the Shoulder of Mutton Inn, Kirby Hill

I visited the Shoulder of Mutton, Kirby Hill, Inn for Sunday lunch with friends. I arrived late for our booking, but the landlord was excellent—welcoming, understanding, and genuinely professional.

We ordered the roast beef dinner, and it was outstanding. The beef was exceptional, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The vegetables were superb—fresh, well-prepared, and generous—and the gravy tied everything together beautifully.

I consider myself a foodie, and rarely leave reviews, but this experience, genuinely stood out. An excellent meal and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
