I was genuinely hesitant to order from ShoppingBattery.co.uk—the website looked a bit sketchy and I wasn’t sure if it was legit. But I figured I had nothing to lose and placed the order anyway.

To my surprise, everything went smoothly: the tracking worked perfectly, and the charger arrived in about two weeks (10 working days). It’s exactly what I needed for my custom-built PC and cost less than a third of what the official supplier was charging.

Honestly, I’m so impressed. It’s a great reminder not to judge a book by its cover—sometimes the underdog really delivers. If you’re on the fence, I’d say give them a shot. I’m glad I did!

Bought a charger for my laptop from this website earlier this year. It started smoking while in use. It could easily have caused a fire in my house. A lucky escape! Save yourself the risk and buy official chargers!

I was trying to buy my son a spare laptop battery charger so when he stays with me it’s one more thing he doesn’t have pack. I ordered the charger from a reputable seller and when it arrived the end connector was the wrong one and they didn’t have the correct item in stock. I found this website and straight away thought it looked low value, but they had my charger in stock and so I ordered it out of frustration. I then read the reviews here and thought what have I done. BUT, despite it being a Chinese seller, and despite it coming from China, it arrived within 8 days. I had to go to the website to get tracking and when it arrived it looked like new and works perfectly. It was a rare charger and the cheapest on the market by at least £20. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Thank you 🙏🏼

As per earlier reviews I was under the impression that this was a UK (or at least a UK based company). After many attempts at contacting the company finally got tracking info and yes, apparently, it's coming (eventually) from China. I sought to buy from a 'local' company but was deceived - my fault - should have drilled down more - now hoping the battery eventually turns up.

I believe this apparently legitimate business not to be what they claim to be. I ordered a replacement charger & paid through PayPal,
After 8 days of no communication or acknowledgment I contacted them to ask where my charger was. They said I had not paid ( I had paid through PayPal ) I am currently going through a dispute with them. Do not make any purchases from these charlatans. I do not believe that they are a legitimate business.

After searching for a rare adapter, i came across this site. The product was shipped from China and was held up at customs for a few days but after 2 weeks, the adapter was finally delivered. The communication was good and I’m pleased with the outcome

I was slightly sceptical using this company because as others have stated they are not based in the UK as their website seems to suggest. However I decided to try them out as I now live in Portugal and was unable to find the charger here. To my surprise I received the package today, 6 days after having placed the order. The price was less than half of what Samsung have the charger listed for on their website and what has been delivered from China is an original Samsung charger. My only complaint would be that communication from the company after the order was placed was lacking.

The web site for this company states 'fast delivery' and implies that they supply from UK stock. Having place an order I recieved a mail stating that they were 'out of stock' in the UK and the product has been ordered from China.

I placed my order on 31 July. Two weeks later and I have yet to recieve my order. Hardy 'fast delivery'.

The headline is that I received the purchased battery, which arrived in 8 days from the date of purchase. This website seems to be the same as "shopping-batteries.co.uk", which has more reviews.

I did the backwards thing of placing my order then researching the website after seeing that I wasn't paying a British company as presumed. I was worried after seeing mostly negative reviews. Make no mistake, this is a Chinese company which despatches its stock from China. This is not clear from the website, which is archaic and busy.

Once ordered, you can request the tracking information via the confirmation email to follow the journey. I had a look initially then pushed it to the back of my mind - wondering whether I had been shafted out of £35. There were no further emails about the order and, to my surprise, it arrived yesterday.

It works, as it should, and it allows me now to get rid of my old problematic battery. For that, I am grateful (as well as for the fact that I at least have something to show for my money). Comparing the old and new battery, they look identical to my untrained eye (and I take comfort that HP batteries are manufactured in China). My only question is whether the battery is brand-spanking new rather than used. It looks unused but did not come in original packaging. I'll never know, but my overall goal has been achieved.

Would I do it again?? No! Near miss, only use if you are a thrill-seeker. With lots of spare cash.

I ordered a laptop battery from these people before reading the other review. I too thought the battery would be coming from a UK depot. I tried their online chat but found it was operating with a Chinese interpretation. Ordered on 28/09/2022,
they say despatched 29/09/2022delivery on 1-3 days after item arrives in my country.
Its now at the delivery depot at 05.34 14/10/2022 yippee its arrived!

This company seems to imply that they have offices in several countries including the UK and they say that their batteries are shipped within 2-4 days of ordering.

Looking at their tracking emails and the Paypal details, it appears they are based in China.

I have waited nearly 2 weeks and not a peep. I have requested a refund. Wish me luck!
