I bought an item for £24.99 from Moderny thinking how lovely it looked, when the item arrived it wasn’t what I expected. I went through the refund process and requested a full refund. To my surprise there was a charge on this of £127.22 as you can gather I didn’t send the item back and requested the option of a gift card and kept the item instead. I will never be using this site to buy anything again, an absolute rip off on returns and refunds. If you buy from these then check their returns and refund policy first

I brought 2 multifunctional pant racks which were poor quality and not fit for the purpose. Contacted multiple times via email to return the item and refund. Initially they agreed for a return but never sent me the actual link for return. Everytime I emailed them, they replied saying they Will send me a link shortly. In the end I lost hope and I was forced to keep the item and they refunded 30% of the price. Would never buy anything from this company again.

Twice disappointed
The books nightlight looked nothing like the picture. Looked like it was painted by a toddler my inquiry was answered quickly. I had the option of keeping it and get a 30% refund or keeping it and choosing another item of equal or lesser value. I chose the table top light tree. In the picture as well as the box it came in the trunk and limbs were brown. The one I got was all wrapped in silver. I will not attempt to return. I will just take the loss!

Items left in a communal corridor by courier (EVRi, who else) and subsequently went missing. Contacted Moderny for a refund or replacement given that they had failed in their obligation of delivering the items to me. They acknowledged this to be the case but stated they could only offer a 30% discount “as a gesture of goodwill”. I would encourage other purchasers to exercise caution when dealing with this company, like myself you may find yourselves significantly out of pocket should the goods fail to reach you.

My stained glass book lamp arrived and looked nothing like the pictures. Cheap paint and product. I requested a full refund but was offered a credit or 30% back. Upon my second request, they said I could ship it back but it must be unopened! How would I know the product quality without opening it? I would never buy from them again.
