In order to avoid any misinterpretation on your part regarding our reservation lists, please note that this system was designed with fairness in mind, to ensure that the most sought-after items – in particular the Funko POP Limited Editions – are offered first and foremost to the genuine customers of our store.

As clearly stated on each product page, registering on a reservation list does not guarantee the purchase of the item. We do not take the order of registration into account when making the final selection, which is carried out by ShopForGeek. As a reminder, www.shopforgeek.com is our official online store.

With regard to transparency, we emphasize that selections strictly follow the rules announced, and that stock quantities are communicated to any customer who requests them from our customer service team, even though the law does not in any way require a distributor to make such information public.

By nature, limited editions are restricted (sometimes to only a few hundred pieces worldwide), and everyone remains free to decide whether or not to join a reservation list. The Goku Limited Edition POP (1200 pcs worldwide) was also available through other retailers in Europe.

We hope these clarifications will help you better understand this approach, which is intended to prioritize our regular customers rather than opportunistic buyers or scalpers. Of course, our customer service team remains at your full disposal for any further questions.

We are sorry that our website did not meet your expectations regarding the customer journey to obtain information that was, however, clearly indicated on the product pages.

As a reminder, the product page for the item in question explicitly stated that access to the reservation list was reserved for customers who had already placed at least one order within the ShopForGeek network, without any prior requirement to register on the site. All information regarding the operation of our reservation lists was available and accessible directly on the said product page, which you ultimately acknowledged in one of your emails.

With regard to your remarks related to the GDPR, we would like to remind you that ShopForGeek strictly complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018. Our data processing activities are subject to regular audits in line with the recommendations of the FPS Economy. As stated in our Privacy Policy, accessible in just one click on our website, every customer has the right to access, rectify, and erase their data, exercised within the framework provided by law. You requested and obtained the deletion of your data following the closure of your inactive customer account, which had been opened only a few days earlier, as explained by our customer service via email.

We would also like to stress that our customer service operates within a professional framework established for over eight years and cannot, under any circumstances, be considered an outlet for individual dissatisfaction regarding the non-selection for an extremely rare product — in this case, the limited-edition Funko Goku figurine (1,200 pieces worldwide).

Although you presented yourself as an IT consultant in your recent e-mails—hence our remark on this point—your feedback contains factually incorrect elements, in particular regarding the alleged absence of information about the requirement to have a completed order prior to accessing our reservation list. This condition was explicitly stated on the product page of the item concerned. Under these circumstances, the relevance of your review is compromised and cannot be regarded as an objective reflection of our services, regardless of whether you are an IT consultant or not.

As already indicated, this matter is considered closed, since no contractual or legal breach can be attributed to us. Hi Nadia,

As shown on the official Funko visual, this figure intentionally features a “weathered/dirty” effect on the face. This design element was added to accurately reflect the character’s appearance in the movie.

It is therefore not a defect, but rather an essential detail to ensure the figure’s authenticity and visual accuracy.
