I cannot believe what a scam this…

I cannot believe what a scam this company is. I bought shoes in October. They have plastic soles were too big. I wrote immediately to get a refund. I have now written five emails. I have called the number for customer service four times. They keep responding with texts saying they'll send me the information for the refund but they don't. This company is a total scam. I wish there was a way for the for me to pursue them legally. It is so annoying. Do not buy their products!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They sent me the shoes (which were over priced) 4 weeks after purchase. My son didn’t want them and they would not refund and have completely blanked me .. they’re a scam

Terrible quality not as shown

I ordered pink suede sandals and got cheap pink plastic instead and of poor quality. These are not as advertised. I read the reviews on the advert which were good but not the reviews on Trust pilot which are awful, I would not have purchased anything if I had seen these reviews too. It now looks as though I will not get a response for a return or a refund.

Beware Betelli: No replies, no refunds

I bought a pair of shoes that turned out to be too small. I paid to return them and asked for a refund but Betelli won't reply to my emails. So, £80 spent and no refund, no contact, no update. This is clearly not a legit business - be warned, this is a scam.

Changed return policy after order

Apparently I ordered my shoes like the day before they merged with DSW. I ordered under the shoes.com return policy of them sending you a prepaid label and charging you an $8.50 restock fee for return. I hesitated but it’s hard to find size 12 shoes for women so I took the chance. Less than two weeks later, I go online to attempt a return and it says they are now DSW. I found a screen to start a return, got authorization to do so, but no shipping label sent. I emailed customer service telling them I was supposed to get a prepaid label to return. A few days later I got an autogenerated email that said to follow the directions on email and if I still had questions to reply. These directions even said to print the prepaid shipping label and return, etc. I replied that I still had no label. Four days later when still no response, I replied again that I was awaiting their label. I received a message back that due to their merger with DSW they will not be providing shipping labels anymore and I am to return “the most cost effective way”, with me paying the fees. I was frustrated but went to ship them today so I could get my refund and the cheapest shipper was $43 for my $46 pair of shoes. I am beyond frustrated that a long time business would try to pull one over on long time clients and don’t think they have to abide by their own policies when they choose not to.

No more business from me

I have been pleased in the past with this site, but I am now returning a pair of shoes that do not fit. No shipping label was sent (the return address was included), so evidently I will have to take it a shipping store and pay for that. I see from other reviews I will also get hit with a restock charge. No more business from me.

I'm sad shoes .com is having problems I have bought many shoes from this company and have never had an issue. sad to see you leave. Was trying to by shoes tonight, thank you all, have always had a great experience.

The website is awful

The website it awful. You can't access anything on it regarding your account. No purchasing history, nothing. Customer service is really lacking and they don't send tracking numbers or emails letting you know that the item has shipped. You constantly have to chase down your item to make sure you get it. It is very frustrating for sure.

If I could leave zero stars I would

If I could leave zero stars I would - should have looked at trustpilot prior to purchase. Paid $32 for 1 or 2 day shipping - what they didn't say was even on an order placed at 8AM they would not ship until the next day - then when they did ship they went 2 day not next day. Argued with Customer Service via email - of course I did not read the fine print and did not assume if they didn't say available for same day shipping then they MEANT to say they would not ship same day - of course you are supposed to be a mind reader to order from them. Go figure!

I ordered two pair of sandals

I ordered two pair of sandals. It said in stock then when I didn’t receive them I sent an email asking why they said they couldn’t fill it. My order was placed two weeks ago. When I placed the order the sandals were in stocked. I didn’t even get an email saying it was canceled. Luckily they credited my card. They won’t answer their phone calls. They will only accept emails. I will not order from them again.

Restocking fee on returns makes online buying from this company difficult

I accidentally ordered the wrong size, so wanted to return or exchange. Very unhappy to find out that they charge an $8.50 restocking fee. Wish I could exchange them but the shoe I chose evidently is no longer available in the five days since I ordered. Frustrated and disappointed to spend $20 on shoes (incl. shipping) and would only get $3.50 back if I returned them.

I received bad conditions twice and didn't refund after they received

I received bad conditions twice, and returned each of them. But after few months, I noticed they were not refunded.
So I tried to call the customer service, but they closed that phone call of custmer service.
So I emailed them, they responsed they can't process refund to my original credit card, just only gift card.
Even though prove return label and when I returned it.
wow!! they looks almmost fraud whopping mall!!!

If I could give them less than one…

If I could give them less than one star, I would. Since being acquired, this shoe site has gone totally downhill. I attempted to purchase a pair of slippers today. They were offering a 30% discount, and I attempted to add the discount code. The page went into spin mode and sat there like that for 10 minutes. Then I went back to the page of the item I was purchasing and went back through the process, and it declined my code. My issue is that there is no clear definition of what is excluded from the discount. The prior ownership always gave you the brands excluded, so it is like Russian roulette. Not the first time this has happened, but I am finally done with them. Too many other great shoe buying sites out there. When I complained to them, they refused to address my complaint and instead told me they were removing me from their email list. What garbage. Do not buy from this site!

HORRIBLE FOR RETURNS

First attempt to contact them, I was put on hold for 72 minutes. Second attempt I emailed them. I did not get a response. On my third attempt, I emailed them again. Finally got a reply and they told me I had the wrong order number. (FIY: order number was correct). Finally, after 4 days of frustration I received a UPS return label. The return label printed the entire 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. They can't even email the proper size label for UPS. Really? Now they will deduct $8.95 return fee. Now I'll have to check my credit card statement to see if I actually get a refund. I have a feeling I will have to go through the hoops again to make sure I actually get the refund. I will never purchase from them again. ZAPPOS is the only way to go. With Zappos you can print a return label instantly and there are no restocking fees or shipping charges. As soon as UPS scans the return label, the Zappos refund process begins. So sorry I wasted my time on Shoes.com. Beware!

Smells Fishy

I purchased a giftcard for a friend a few years ago from this company and shortly thereafter after the company allegedly went out of business and wouldn't respond to any contact from either of us. Later, I see they have reopened. I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again. Negative stars.

Cancelled order without notice, and won't honor their own prices

Placed an order because they sent me a coupon. They cancelled my order without notice. Did not discover this until contacting them to check on my order status. Spent almost a week getting the run around on facebook messenger, because they don't have a customer service phone number that actually answers customer calls. After 4 days of back and forth they just informed me the coupon they emailed me had an error in it and they would not honor their price. Followed quickly with "have a great rest of your week." I've never had a customer service experience this abysmal. I would not recommend anyone shop here.
