We had issues with lack of servicing of our room in the hotel. Burlington hotel hasn’t got a ladies toilet on the ground floor, you either had to take the lift or walk downstairs. When you use walking aids it can be a problem.

This was terrible, 12 hours outward and 13hours home, it takes too long at change over at Lymm. Breakfast was reasonable but dinner was terrible, for the money we paid it wasn’t good. Another coach in the hotel paid over £100 less and got 4 drinks each night. Driver Andy didn’t give much information although he was a very safe driver. Not what we expected from Shearings , we have travelled with your company both before lockdown and since,

Driver , coach and trips were excellent. Food was good and staff at hotel very nice. However the hotel itself was tired and the room was poor. In the bathroom the seal at the bottom of the folding shower door was missing, such poor water pressure on shower hard to have a shower. The toliet buffeted between wall and bath so no room to move. Overall the bedroom was clean apart from dusty cobwebs in the window and on the ceiling near the bed. Was a shame as the view was lovely and the staff were very helpful.

Outside of Burlington Hotel is in very poor condition, flaky paint, green vegetation at ground level and metal rust. Very scruffy bedroom/bathroom. Dirty and stained carpets. Bathroom taps had not been cleaned before my arrival. You could not "swing a cat" in the bathroom. Shoddy repair to the bathroom lock. Looked like the room had not been painted in years. Exposed wiring near radiator. Shoddy carpets leading from floor 1 down to reception. Back staircase carpet was very dirty.

Hotel bedroom the shower water is too hot. The receiption said it is an old fitting so nothing can be done. Food is good. Outing to Hastings- driver not sure where to alight us. First day the driver went round in Shepperton about 4 times. We have to carry out luggage to our hotel room.Last day luggages were not transfer from hotel to the bus. Driver had to get them for us all. Good that a few of us helped the driver to organise the luggages.

It was unfortunate that the journey to Eastbourne was 7 hours and 8 on the way home. I could have driven myself in 2 and a half hours. When we arrived on Bank holiday Monday and found that the road in front of the hotel was having road works (also at the side of the hotel) and the beautiful carpet gardens had been taken up. I think that the hotel should have notified the company. On our way home we had to take our cases across the road to a place beside the pier which when you are in your eighties with a handbag and bag and a walking stick proved to be very difficult. The driver was excellent although he didn't know the area or the places to park which proved difficult in Hastings and he could have had instructions from previous drivers.

Lovely holiday in Eastbourne, it's flat, lots to do in a small area, lucky with weather too and value for money. The hotel improved since my last visit, more organised, great food and good well equipped room. Itinerary very good with variety of trips and lovely driver Les who was very helpful and friendly.

It was my 1st coach holiday & the trip on the feeder coach was fine, taking just over 2 hrs from Winchester to Cobham Services, picking up passengers in Basingstoke, Camberley & Woking. I used the coach onboard loo, which was just as well, as the Ladies @ Cobham had a never-shortening queue of about 30, throughout our 1.5 hr stay. We left Cobham @ 12 noon & got to Eastbourne just before 2pm. My friend, who travelled separately by train, found we had been allocated a v small double room with small double bed at the back of the Burlington Hotel, but the deputy manager Liam sorted us a room with single beds at the front. Dinner that night was not very good & only available up to 7.30pm. The room was never serviced or cleaned, including the bins & dirty mugs & glasses, despite several requests at Reception, to which the response was non-apologetic to the point of rudeness. The coach excursions were adequate, although the majority agreed not to alight in Lewes on the first trip, due to the weather, somewhat encouraged by the coach driver. The trip on Thurs to Hastings & Rye went to plan. The quiz, live entertainment & opportunity to escape the football on Weds night with a trip to the local Hippodrome theatre was welcome & enjoyable. I'm afraid I'm going to attach photos of the unemptied rubbish bins & unwashed & cleared glasses & mugs. Toilet rolls, milk & tea bags were obtainable from Reception. It seems as though rooms are only serviced between guests. We also had to get a door hanger saying either 'Do not Disturb' or 'Please make up the room' from Reception, but this was ignored.

the hotel could have done witrh completely modernising. The bed was not very comtable and was full of bed bugs,I woke up every night bitten It was not cleaned very well. the pugs were filthy and the wall under the window had damp However the staff were lovely and very helpful. And the food was great.

I think having to go up to Leeds 59 miles and 59 back within a few miles where we started when we could have been picked up going down to Eastbourne that made a total time of 11hrs 20 mins terrible I would say you need better planning I would not do that again poor

My friend and I had a very pleasant few days in Eastbourne last week . Our driver on our trips out was very helpful and friendly as were the staff in the hotel . The food was good and plenty of choice too. Our room was spotless and kept well by the housekeepers and we had plenty of space .
