Sharesight is a simple to use record of my share holdings. It's great that I can run reports for my US holdings as well as for local holdings. I'm probably not using it to its full advantage but am happy with the program so far.
Like: The end reports
Need improvement:
1. Using native English speakers for text prompts and 2. bin the first dialogue window when the user selects a report to run.
3. Reports are "Run" not saved, unless SS intends to implement a "Favourites" option for reports
Fantastic app for aggregating various portfolios across different brokers to allow reporting. Just the right reports and export capabilities to allow additional analysis in Excel / Google Sheets if you need it.
Their support team is great too - extremely helpful and responsive.
Great value if you have portfolios in different countries and wish to track income and performance.
This platform is outstanding. I really like it and it has helped me tremendously. I would recommend anybody to try to use it to find a job. I get lots of callbacks and just one week.
Shareview has been the platform I had been looking for over a number of years, hve now been using for just over 12 months and very happy, also impressed with quick responses when I had queries in my early days of using the platform.
I had a 1on1 call with Ricky who explained how Sharesight worked. It was very informative and I now feel I can get more out of my Sharesight experience. He was very though and answered all of my questions. Excellent.
I am using Stake and found without paying for premium service summarising my stocks was limited. Some simple setup to forward emails as I make trades and share sight updates within minutes.
Sadly the free plan only allows 10 holdings, and the next plan is $19 a month. For a starter investor this is too much. Wish they had a basic no frills version for a smaller monthly fee else I am going to need to find another option.
Was useful, and linked to as default reporting tool by Bendigo Invest Direct. Have now removed Capital Gains Tax reporting, so not much use any more unless you want to pay $450/year.
I've had various attempts to get on top of our investments over the years, but Sharesight is by far the best. There was a bit of work needed to get older records into the system and have them match up with what broker websites reported, but with that work done, keeping up to date and reporting to our accountant requires a fraction of the work we used to do.
Solved all my problems went over and above for customer support thanks Ricky
WITH Sharesight I was able track dividends of my REIT portfolio. Then make assess other components of portfolio as where would be component to further invest in.
Fortunately, I only lost £24. I am situated in the UK but invest in different currencies. It allows you to create cash accounts in other currencies, but when you buy a share, the cash amount is immediately deducted from GBP alone. This is a scam, therefore avoid it and trade with reputable companies like [STERGAIN..], who have saved me from a difficult situation and consistently provide trustworthy profits.

The statistics are interested but the base price is horribly expensive. But the worst is the following: I subscribe to a monthly installment to give a try and cancelled right after payment to make sure I don't forget to do so later. The downgrade take into effect immediately, ^which means that I did not use the service at all and my money was just lost. This is not only an insult to client, it is a fraud from my local
It's a pretty good product for the US overseas and AUS markets as it takes care of dividends, and currency (really good). The reports for my accountant would be sufficient and that nasty one where they need total value for buys/sells. I'm not sure on the reports for my accountant but they look right for now.
For semi-day traders who do lots of trades, it lets you down very badly on the 1000 trade limit AND the reports time out for tax when you need them. IT support just says it can't be done. I'm in IT. Things can be pre-computed or you beef up the queries/computing OR we pay extra (I'm on the top tier).
I don't blame them but these AUS companies (this, Stake) could greatly improve their customer base if they opened up to customer improvements instead of relying on in-house business requirements driving development. I'm in IT I understand how this works but sucks you're not open to it.
It's a good product though, with multiple accounts by the premium and claim on tax.
Cheers, GP
