Overpriced puppy mill sellers

We were misled by not knowing that these stores are shady dealers of puppy mill dogs that pray on uninformed consumers.

It’s clear that our dog came from an unarmed and unlisted “breeder” in rural Ohio, in the same town as many other identified mills. Why wouldn’t a reputable, proud breeder have a website, a phone number, a trust pilot, social media, or any public contacts?

It’s a scam and while we love our dog, he will have to deal with a heart murmur that will eventually likely turn into heart disease. I’m glad I bought him, even if at an exorbitant $3000 tick from a backdoor Ohio puppy mill, because he was saved from sitting in a brightly lit cage for months or being subjected to a bunch of unmonitored shoppers.

He clearly was traumatized and is fearful of certain types of people that we have never introduced him to in this store.

There’s a reason these types of stores are banned in most states. Please go to a nonprofit rescue or a real breeder.
