I ordered an ELNA sewing machine in November 2012 and never received it.
I tried to contact them via email and phone but they never responded, and when they did answer the phone they weren’t serious and very unprofessional. I actually got my money back after I threatened to call the authorities and that was almost a year later.
Absolutely the worst people and store.

After six months after the order and several e-mails, i didnt recieved the products neither my money back. for order 8149. 105,50 simply lost

I ordered 3 items in December 2013. One item arrived in Feb 2014.
I kept e-mailing about the rest of my order. By July 2014 it has not arrived yet.
Sometimes they have answered, sometimes they have even seemed to relate to my inquiry but most of the time the answers seemed automated. They have promised to look into the case several times and they have informed me that the order had despatched over and over again.
The only thing this store does speedily is drawing the money from your account.
So bad.
I strongly encourage you to shop somewhere else.

Their website states orders will be dispatched next working day, subject to stock. They obviously don't carry any stock. I ordered two accessories for my Janome Coverpro 10 days ago. When I rang I was told they might be with them on Monday! My Machine was ordered from a competitor and dispatched directly from Janome, arriving with me within 36 hours. I have also ordered spares from Janome which have arrived the following day. Having seen two other reviews I am now worried that I'm going to have to keep chasing this order - they should not advertise what they can't deliver within an acceptable time scale. Whilst no one was rude, I have only given one star; the cynic in me thinks they are taking the order regardless of stock levels. Unlike Sewing World, many companies do not take your money until the order is actioned.

I ordered a part for my sewing machine over 2 months ago. After emailing them several times asking when I was likely to get the part, they finally replied, saying it was out of stock (not mentioned at the time of ordering) but would be dispatched in the next few days. It was not. This happened twice. I finally had to obtain the part elsewhere so asked for a refund, but they are ignoring my emails. I thought sewingworld.co.uk seemed like a reputable company. How wrong I was!
