Having been a customer of there's for over 14 years I was a little dismayed at the 457% price increased!!!

£80ish pound to over £450 was too hard to swallow.

Up until my renewal I never had any issues with their services/cost and would have had 5 stars from me!

Like others after a 10 min hunt on google I jumped to Hostinger.

Transferred lock stock and barrel to a UK based company and closed my Servage account.

How not to run a company

Same experience as everybody else. Have been a customer for 14 years and then an insane price increase.

I moved to nordicway.dk, much faster servers with everything I need for a fraction of even the original Servage price. A shame I didn’t do that many years ago!

Servage has finally lost the plot completely!

I didn't know about the massive 400% price hike until (fortunately) until it was too late. Never got a invoice/email - only figured when emails stopped working and my site was down (which does happen a lot). But I digress.

One year hosting totalled 482GBP compared to 100GBP last annum. Wow... pluck a duck!

14 years a customer, no real explanation as to why barring an 'upcoming' upgrade and we all know how the last one worked out... yes no emails website for months!

Fortunately Hostinger offered a very reasonable deal offering everything Servage provides plus a nice easy to use control panel.

AVOID SERVAGE AT ALL COSTS

I have been in Servage for 13 years

I have been in Servage for 13 years, after many times with cuts, slow servers, after suffering all kinds of breakdowns, and despite this I have faithfully continued in Servage, until this year 2023 without justifying they have raised my annual fee x5, it is say 5 times more expensive.
So since this is already a joke and a scam I have had to migrate the domains and go to other companies, I DO NOT RECOMMEND SERVAGE, it is the worst thing I have known as a hosting company.

Outrages increase and no care for long term customers

Update per 31/3/2023.
A manager came back with a poor reply. First of all a standard reply that already was given by one of the staff members. It was clear my email was not read at all, so I assume they are not interested in what their customers write. On the question if they would perhaps now concentrate on corporates (which could be) I got a vague reply that they still focus on corporates and private persons. But with a 800% increase that is still hard to believe. They want a sustainable company but when they chase away their customers how sustainable will they be?
More disappointing, apart from again another standard reply, with regards to a special deal for a long term customer, they simply don`t care and even do not do any effort in keeping customers. In other words, our long term membership has no value to them at all.

For a customer care manager a very poor reply and no solution offered apart from standard text and nothing new then what the staff already emailed.

I checked the application they offer nowadays. That is now a joke. Only 2 application are offered.

Servage is no longer worth considering to join if you need a webhoster or want to register your domain. There are others and better and even cheaper companies available who can also offer you much more.

====================================

I am a customer for over 15 years. During that period my space of 1TB got reduced to 200GB but I still had to pay the same price. So far, all good. Then they moved me to another server and I lost all my online invoices and my tickets. Not a single staff member was able to retrieve it (???). And now they increase the price with 800%. I made a analysis with a competitor and send it to them and ask them to be honest in their replies and not the standard about costs cause that is an excuse that was already used.
The reason I received then was : The reason for us doing this significant price increase is to ensure we receive a fair margin on our services provided so we can drive a sustainable business. Also, we’ve basically increased and harmonized the prices for the services we provide on Servage with the prices on our other brands that we run from the same infrastructure and by the same team. This procedure is a decision made by our management to meet the current developments and in order to keep providing the best possible service to our customers."
When it comes to service they gone down the line as well. And an increase should be reasonable!

The alternative they offer Websupport is almost also 800% more expensive as their old servage price. When I asked them if they could do a deal for long term customers they immediately said NO. I insisted to speak to manager and waiting for some manager to come back. It is clear they don`t care about customers not even long term ones.

If they want to get rid of the little, long term customers, because we are maybe to profitable enough, and want to focus on companies, then they need to be honest and inform the customers in a proper way.

Below is the analys I made against what I paid before. It is clear there is an 800% increase. Even their alternative is even expensive as they are.

Deliberate shedding customers

I have used Servage professionally and personally for almost 20 years. Their servers have never been fast but the price could not be bettered for low traffic websites and IMAP email. They were then bought out and the new owners for whatever reason have decided to ditch their customers - how else does one explain a 400% increase?

About two months ago I backed up all the websites and migrated my emails and domains out with much fuss and cancelled my services.

I am posting here because despite this they still issued invoices and sent reminders. The last one a few days ago. I was instructed to log in to my account and cancel services I cancelled two months ago! Anyway I could not log in and clicking the forgot my password link the system told me it did not recognise my email address.

Sales then confirmed the system deleted my account.

If they can't get simple things like this right then it's right for them to throw the towel in. I think the company that bought Servage has lost a lot of money on the transaction and they're cutting their losses.

Ridiculous Price Increases

I have been a loyal customer for 15 years with Servage and then I got my new invoice for another 6 months of web hosting. The cost went from 48 dollars to 229 dollars. I'm not sure what percentage increase that is, but when you start putting greed above your loyal customers it's time to look elsewhere. I signed up with a new web host and I'm not looking back. Shame on Servage for treating their customers this way.

Please avoid this company

I've just been informed that they have more than doubled my annual hosting fee. I've been a customer for more than 12 years and they do this with no prior warning, then tell me to move to a cheaper company if I don't like it. Don't worry I will

Avoid at All cost

I'm annoyed that I even have to leave a single star. I've been a loyal customer almost 15 years only to receive an email saying cost have gone up and I have to pay an increase of around 400% more. Just can't believe these jokers would do this, they've suspended my account because I absolutely refuse to be held to ransom by these clowns.

An easy decision.

Being hit with a price increase of over 400% after 16 years as a low maintenance, low resource customer is a kick in the unmentionables.

Deciding to leave Servage was certainly easier than trying to use their latest 'control panel'.

After 15 years a kick in the butt!

After being a customer for 15 years, advising others to join them, it feels like a kick in the butt.
Silently putting the price up 400% and as a respond to my shocked email, a standard mail with "we move to an enhanced technology platform" and if you don't like it go to "our sister company websupport.se" (for same price but less features, or same features for a higher price)
