Management refuses to renew FHA insurance on my property in laurel Travino Terrace . I wish I never purchased this home. I wouldn’t advise anyone to ever have to deal with these people

APARTMENT & BUILDING INFESTED WITH…
APARTMENT & BUILDING INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES
Sentry Management might just be the worst company I have EVER dealt with. We live in the Spanish Towers, in Boulder, Colorado and have been living alongside COCKROACHES for upwards of THREE months. I did not even know it was possible for cockroaches to be in Colorado. Sentry Management has completely avoided our calls, and our leasing offices calls, and has failed to do anything about to rectify the situation.
We have woken up to cockroaches in our kitchen, our panty, our dishwasher, and worst of all, our bed. The infestation is coming from the building, which means all the treatments we have completed are not stopping the cockroaches from entering our apartment. DO NOT LIVE IN AN APARTMENT MANAGED BY SENTRY MANAGEMENT.
Do not ever be a contractor under this…
Do not ever be a contractor under this business. Took over 6 weeks to be paid for a job that wasn't even done when they managed, but they managed funds. They lost my w9, with PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION!
Nobody knows what they are doing at this place. Rhea never answered phone calls and lied about our w9.
Finally were paid after we threatened small claims, they emailed us and said "we sent it to address on w-9"..... after you said you didnt have it???????
Wow! Rhea thinks its only important to pay certain bills! Yikes! She actually put this in writing!!! Telling the business she NEVER called back how great she thinks she is
Maaco, Chesapeake
Winston Reed, an estimator at the Chesapeake, Va location, is as crooked as a $3.00 bill. On April 10, 2024, I brought my car in for an estimate. I requested a mid-range paint job. Reed padded the estimate, including bodywork that was not necessary. The estimate came to $4728.00. The following day I received a second estimate with Keri at the Virginia Beach Maaco location. She did not try to gouge me or pad the estimate which came to $1377.00. A $3351.00 difference they did an excellent job painting my car. I wonder if the owner at the Chesapeake location is aware that he has a crooked dishonest employee? Reed should be shown the door.
This is a predatory company
This is a predatory company. They are horrible and hard to get a hold of. When you do talk to someone it is in another state or country. They consistently assess higher fees than they are supposed to and tack on late charges that they won’t resolve even when they have deceived payment. I wish I could give the zero stars
They sent a generic response to a review with how to contact them and I never heard back from that either.
MAKE SURE YOU NEVER MOVE INTO A SENTRY MANAGED NEIGHBORHOOD
If I could rate -0 I Would
If I could rate -0, I surely would. The lack of communication and skill is completely incredible. A simple fob replacement and gate code request is something I've been dealing with for the last 5 months. It is mind-blowing how representatives and staff allow such weak and poor service. The so-called ''ACCESS TEAM'' is inexistent; callbacks from representatives from that department never happen. The customer service line will repeat over and over the same thing. . BY FAR THE WORST HOA I'VE ENCOUNTERED AND DEALT WITH.

Heartless crooks plain and simple. Will not recommend if you have them as your HOA management run with your money and Don't look back!! They need to go out of business they're the most horrid company I ever dealt with they are money hungry watch your wallet!! Complain to the better business bureau are the department of regulations please!!!
I would give this management company a zero if I could
I would give this management company a zero star if I could. Our community has had a few management companies by far this has been the worst experience.
CMA now has Sentry managed our subdivision or condo association for approximately three and a half to four years. Initially, we had **** as our manager, and she did an excellent job of communicating effectively and ensuring that deadlines were met. However, things took a turn for the worse when they decided to switch our association over to another manager.
Under the new manager, **** the property was managed in a state of disrepair. For instance, several of our invoices, including our water bill, were not paid. As a result, our water was shut off, and our LGE electric bill for the outside lights and garages were also cut off. There were at least four to six unpaid invoices that she claimed were due to mail not arriving, even though she should have been doing check and balances, ensuring all invoices were paid.
Furthermore, she neglected the community. She only conducted drive-bys in her SUV of the community, as if she didn’t like being in our part of town. This limited her ability to really access the community and see the deficiencies that needed to be repaired.
Additionally, several issues remained unaddressed, such as the porch and balcony situations, the siding on our property, and dumpster problems. The property has been neglected and is in a state of disrepair due to the mismanagement of Sentry and our property manager.
Terrible experience all around
Terrible experience all around. Management is inept, doesn't respond, is on a power trip. Board members are part of sentry which whether they say or not is a conflict of interest.
Bad Actors
This week, this office attempted to charge our tenants late fees and interest charges because some HOA payments were delayed in the mail because of Hurricane Milton. Fortunately our local HOA office intervened and deleted these fraudulent charges, but this is not the first time Sentry has tried it. They are in violation of Florida ordinances designed to protect seniors, so do not take them or their charges at face value. Report any suspected incident of consumer fraud.
Have not been good folks to deal with
Have not been good folks to deal with. I do not recommend them
Somebody is making a ton of money at…
Somebody is making a ton of money at Sentry Management. I set up my payments to be taken out semiannual. Yet, every MONTH, I receive a Reminder statement that they have charged me a late fee for my payment. Semiannual means once every 6 months. NOT MONTHLY. My bank account reflects that they re taking the money out once per month, though. What crooks.
When we Moved in our Hoa was 351.00 and…
When we Moved in our Hoa was 351.00 and it was only for one month they switched to sentry and they raised the prices after that and Now they raised it to 410.00 so they want that 62.00 from us that hadn't been raised yet But they want that money. On June 26th 202
4 I sent them a check for the 410.00and the; late payment Or whatever I thought the late payment was 25.00 And they cashed that check onAug 30th and now in all over those months they charged me two more times plus they said i already owed 150.00 for some late payments cause they didnt cash the check we called them m isd july why they hadnt cashed the check and they said they never got it then we called them again the 19th of July they still hadnt cashed the check so I put a stop payment and my bank screwed up and let them cash it on Aug 30th and all this time they wanted the late payments and we dont even owe any how did I pay 225.00 and the late payments are 25.00 each it is fraud horrible company if anyone wants to file a class action lawsuit lets us know they deliberate held the check after i payed the 351.00 for the first month we had moved in they said we were all even there accounting and assessment s make no sense at all IT IS FRAUD
As a Realtor in central florida
As a Realtor in central florida, I deal with management companies and hoa's all the time. I was surprised by the response I've got when I asked Sentry a question about deed restrictions in a community I'm representing a seller in. I was advised by Sam Long that I needed to have my name associated with the community as a resident or an association manager in order to have a simple question about deed restrictions answered. Needless to say I got the information needed by another Sentry employee. I completely understand Sentry management poor ratings.
**Review of Sentry Management**
**Review of Sentry Management**
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sentry Management, particularly in dealing with Peter Asis. My bank account was mistakenly charged $1,368.75 instead of the authorized $494 monthly fee. Despite clearly outlining this issue on August 2, I received nothing but generic and unhelpful responses from Peter Asis, who repeatedly asked for unnecessary documentation.
Even after providing detailed transaction histories that clearly showed the error in their automated system, Peter continued to stall the resolution process. His responses were dismissive and did not address the root cause of the problem. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable.
I strongly advise against using Sentry Management. Their service is unreliable, and their customer support is ineffective. This experience has been nothing short of infuriating, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Sentry refuses to credit payments made…
Sentry refuses to credit payments made to account. locked out of community portal and can't make current payments....which now puts me in arrears and they apply late fees. have been trying for over a month to fix this but Sentry in Michigan whines that sentry in Florida controls the situation. Really? YOU got my money but you refuse to credit me. call someone in Florida and fix this. WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY IN THE UNIVERSE. these people should be investigated by Michigan Attorney General.
Sentry Management (Missouri) has placed…
Sentry Management (Missouri) has placed a lien on my property due to an ongoing 3 year or more nightmare or shall I say money ploy. Their resolution has been to make the lump sum payment or we're going to proceed to add more chaos to your life. The Admin. Asst. and the Sentry Board would rather take a homeowner through HELL rather than rectify the matter with a reasonable resolution. Due to no fault of my own, I've accumulated over $1,800 worth of interest/late fees due to a discrepancy/unnecessary late fee charge back in November of 2020. Sentry says the payment was delivered to them later than the due date. However on personal bank statements, that have been copied and shared with Sentry, it shows the payment was withdrawn from my account on time. I've gone back and forth with the A.A. and the Board for years, so finally in December of 2023, they offered a settlement for me to pay half of the fees which was ridiculous, unfair, and rejected. Why would I settle for that if I've paid my HOA fees ON TIME? Additionally, every single billing cycle moving forward to this day, I've been charged interest/late fees stemming from 2020, although monies are withdrawn from my account monthly and on the due date. I currently have a credit score of 782 and do not have issues with paying my bills. Lastly, I've gone through several different mental stages over the years due to the stress and anxiety of the A.A. and the Board being so COLD and absolutely unwilling, almost reluctant to help especially when communicating with her/them via e-mail or phone. Additionally, I've had to reach out to her on several occasions for a reply/feedback, even after dropping off personal bank statements. The latest information shared is that it's my bank's fault now, initially it was all my fault. So since the settlement split rejection, they've implemented a lien and/or haven't taken any responsibility that their system may have caused the issue of the payment draft being late. FYI: My irrigation/sprinkler system hasn't worked in over 3 or 4 years, however I guess that's my fault as well. BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!! In the progress of seeking legal assistance.
Sentry doesn't care; Little Turtle Chippewell doesn't care
Please explain why we, at Little Turtle, have the worst maintenance department, the most maintenance needed and yet I went into the maintenance office because Tom tried to scare off some friends who are here to help me with some drywall issues AND will be heading to the pool yet he's worried about the 'guest parking' spot (one spot). NOBODY IS THERE (its 1:45pm) AND TOM IS WATCHING YOUTUBE IN THE OFFICE. GET OUT OF THE OFFICE AND START PERFORMING ACTUAL MAINTENANCE. This is where your increased fees are going.
Have dealt with them as owner and as…
Have dealt with them as owner and as board member. Absolutely the worst experiences. Financials are a mess. Sentry property manager continually gets the statutes wrong. They overcharge and under deliver. They actually find reasons to charge over and above your contract for everything.
If I could give less than one star
If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. This property management company is so unorganized, full of excuses, never helpful, and in fact, contrary, at almost every turn, I would never recommend using this company for those reasons and a host of many more.
AP department is horrible
Our community just recently went to the new community pro system and it's horrible. Sentry did not bring over our vendor information to the new system and now are refusing to pay people until they have info in set up in their new system. Hey dummies pull this information from the old system, it's all there and all are in compliance. I know of communities that Sentry doesn't even pay their bills so the power has been cut off at the clubhouse and now their pest control is disrupting service until payments are caught up. Their AP department is the worst!!!! Our local office has been great at trying to help but their hands are tied.
