Established in 1994, Sensory Integration Education is a not-for-profit organisation working with allied health professionals, education and health experts, academic researchers and families to improve awareness, understanding and the treatment of sensory integration and sensory processing difficulties.
We do all this using the proven framework of Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy. For over 30 years and in over 100 countries, we have trained those who work with and care for people with sensory challenges. We support and disseminate research into Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy.
Our MSc in Sensory Integration pathway, delivering SI Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner status, was the world’s first postgraduate qualification in SI accredited by a UK university. This course has given me the vocabulary to understand and communicate my and my daughter’s sensory processing differences. Even though I’ve done a lot of research in this area (and have 37 years lived experience), only after completing this course can I confidently talk with others about my needs. 20 minutes (for me, not the course creators) very well spent!

Useful introduction for caregivers to sensory integration
I'm a parent of a child with gross motor delays who is undergoing physio and OT and came across Sensory Integration Education via a LinkedIn post. The introductory courses are really informative for parents and caregivers looking for information about what SI is and how it might be relevant for their child/ren.

I completed the SOSI-M course
I completed the SOSI-M course. There was so much information and it was very thorough. I did need to re-visit sections and do it over a number of sessions. I do think it has equipped me to use this assessment tool if I get the opportunity in the future, but it also helped me to think about all the information gathering we do and try to formulate it in a useful way-"where are the data clusters" will be helpful for me going forward.
