I would rate Seeking Alpha services 9/10 based on recent experience with a representative called Saroj Kumar. I wrongly subscribed to Premium instead of Alpha picks and Saroj was very helpful and handled my case with great professionalism. I was able to be switched over within a short time and I can attest to being a very happy Seeking Alpha customer at the moment

I’ve sent several emails to contributors@, analysts@, and submissions@ about my issue and found it very difficult to get a reply. I eventually got a response, but it offered very little input. When I tried to follow up for clarification, they simply stopped responding, despite multiple follow-ups.
It honestly feels like contributors are treated as disposable, with little regard for either contributors or readers. It felt like they were doing me a favour and that I was just one more. The staff simply don’t seem to care.

Last time, when I forgot to renew my subscription, I lost all my saved alerts, which was ridiculous and made me waste a lot of time. Today, they have rolled out a new alert interface which is bugging, and I am getting alert notifications even when the alert should not have been triggered. Tried to contact customer support and see there is no direct way to do so. If you want to be a premium subscription service give your customers a number to call or a chat to talk to (not a bot). The article coverage remains solid, and there are many positive things about the site (such as the comparison of SA, Quant, and Wall Street ratings).
Edit: had originally given 3 stars for the lack of direct cus tomer support, but upgrading to 4 because I got a prompt response from the email address and a followup.

I had an issue getting SA delivered to the correct address so I contacted SA via email. I received a response the next morning and was able to have a meaningful discussion online which ultimately solved my problem.

I had a billing issue during the weekend and Saroj got back to me on Monday. She not only treated me as a ticket number but understood the full context and found a resolution that worked for us.

Very disappointed. I was re-billed with no notice. I asked about unsubscribing and a refund within minutes of the charge and they refuse to refund. On top of that they have stopped sending any alerts after my countless requests for a refund. So they pretty much just stole my money and I get nothing.
Response: I absolutely have reached out. We have went back and forth on this and you refuse to do anything and seem determined to keep my money. Terrible business practice.

the rebilling process is a scam, once a year for escalating prices and very difficult process to unsubscribe

I appreciated the quick responses by Saroj to my emails and my concerns as well. SA was flexible in granting me a refund on my subscription, which I had meant to cancel but forgot during the holidays. I only cancelled due to being out of work and the need to cut expenses.
