Exceptional Service & Support from Securefix Direct
The delivery from Securefix Direct was exceptionally quick. My order placed on eBay early afternoon for some marine grade shackles arrived thro' the letterbox the following morning.
After some communication, using the companies 'web chat' support on the day of delivery in regard to a very minor requirement using an alternative design, an alternative was immediately despatched without any hesitation at all. This too arrived the following day.
I can only admire the professional way in which my small value order was managed. The 'web chat' and subsequent email support and service from them was 110%. I'll be sharing my positive experience with my friends and colleagues and hope if you read this that you too will enjoy the same high level of service that impressed me 'no end'.

I ordered a simple small 2 piece latch lock and had it delivered really quick. But only 1 piece was enclosed - SecureFix Direct apologised and said they would send the missing piece straight away and it arrived the very NEXT day.

web site does not work properly.E-mail to them resulted in a reply that gave no help or explanation of why.They simply did not wish to take any notice of my comments. I finally decided that I was wasting my time and found another supplier who supplied what I wanted , with free delivery and a web site that worked satisfactorily.

I personally remember this occasion from March 13th. I did respond to both of your emails within 10 minutes of us receiving them. I explained to you that the free delivery is clearly and honestly displayed on our website, I directed you to the 'Delivery Information' link that is also displayed on every single one of our pages.

I explained that, as per the majority of most other trusting online retailers, the free delivery is free if the goods are delivered via Royal Mail. The goods that you choose do weigh in at 5KG and are a high value item. Because we value our business and our customers who purchase from us, your goods would have to go via courier, just to clarify, this is pre-set into our system by ourselves as a standard cost, so be assured-we don't make this up as we go along! Once again, this was explained to you and is also stated the 'Delivery Information' - this is very clearly open for all to see, we do state "Free Delivery to Mainland England & Wales on Heavier Items, Certain Locations Excluded."
You live on the remote Western Isles of Scotland where our courier charge is £18.80, our website ADVISED you of a charge of £14.80 so £4.00 of that was already swallowed by the product where we offer the "Free Delivery" that we offer to the Mainland UK.
Our website advises of the charges from just entering your post code. You never had to commit at any stage of the order process, in fact it is a 10 second process from viewing the item to just entering your post code and clicking enter. You were given a delivery quote immediately, you were not asked for no further details, no personal information, nor was you forced into any kind of commitment. You will find that some online retailers do insist on taking your full address and then dropping the extra charge at you once you have spent much time entering personal billing and delivery details.
Your emails to us were very blunt and rather rude, you provided no understanding to any of my emails or solutions to you. You further harassed our online chat team at 16:49 on the 13th after I had already emailed you and very kindly answered your query. At SecureFix Direct we pride ourselves at giving the very best online service that we can, along with an honest product and an exemplary delivery.
All I can do now at this stage is wish you the very best and hope that after you have had some further experience of online purchasing you may actually find that we do offer much more in service than many other retailers. With the above in mind we welcome you to an honest purchase should you wish to.
