Cost figures far off, not taken seriously, territories not viable
LUXE LIGHT LLC bought a Sea Love franchise for Texas in November 2025 and paid the $50,000 Franchise Fee. Once we got real local quotes, rent and labor alone were about $108,000 a year higher than the numbers we relied on, before any owner salary. The Sea Love Franchise is not viable in the areas we have territories for. Financials for up to 4 years showed a negative balance and no owner salary. There is also no room financially to own a location with any sort of absentee status. We sent a written request to resolve our issues and gave Sea Love 10 business days to reply. We only heard back after threatening legal. We never opened. Prospective franchisees should be very careful. There is very little room for profit with the numbers they gave in the FA. And no room for profit in our area. I would look at different franchise.
