Incredibly poor service.

It is impossible to find even with the number where and when the parcel will arrive. Each time that I had anything to do with Italia Poste, including parcels delivery, had problem. In all fairness the service is so poor that should be replaced by private companies to handle all their services. No words can describe how I feel about them. To top all, the post offices never even answer the telephone calls.

My parcel stuck in the UK…

My parcel is apparently stuck in the UK Centre for none payment of fees, I have no idea how to contact them and pay any fees to get my parcel released, cannot find any info online for them, the reviews here state that apparently they use Parcel Force in the UK, but they cannot help without their tracking, I have no idea how to proceed. Any help would appreciated

Dogwater postal company

It's a shame there's no 0 star option to make this review with. Sent an express package nearly 2 months ago from Australia to Italy. After waiting an entire month, the package finally arrived to the processing hub where it was promptly kept for 2 weeks due to apparent "missing delivery details". After receiving a single phone call from a one-way phone number which i unfortunately missed (and could not call back), i was never contacted again. I tried to call the free inquiry number multiple times only to be answered by a braindead voice recognition bot, sending countless emails to no avail, and i'm still waiting for someone to get in touch. By comparing the tracking of the package from both Australia and Italy, i have come to the conclusion that the package is in a superposition state between both countries (aka it has been lost and nobody knows where it is). It's no surprise the average rating for this company is 1 star as it is run by a bunch of incompetent, non-existing people. Frankly embarassing service.

Useless company they cannot get to your…

Useless company they cannot get to your address or even call the number provided on the parcel the next tracking would be back to sender for reasons incomplete address meanwhile everything is complete and correct this company has to be sued and closed down too many bad reviews

No communications, but this may help.

Having been very concerned about this company, I have to write an update review, as they did come through, BUT no real communication from them, so this might help others. I was notified a shipment could not be delivered to my UK address and my shipment was being held in the SDA facility in the UK. Googling reveals no such place exists with no telephone number, nothing, and no response from SDA themselves. Luckily, the company who shipped my products were able to contact SDA and get a Parcelforce tracking number...so they appear to be the SDA partner in the UK, but the SDA number means nothing to them, so you will need the Parcelforce number. My package of parts did arrive in a timely manner and undamaged, but the lack of communications and general reputation left me feeling alarmed about a 600 Euro shipment. Moral of the story, make sure your shipper can follow up on your behalf if recieveing from Italy.

Package sent from Australia to Italy, Rome

My package was sent express from Australia and after two months made it to Rome. My tracking information indicated one attempt at delivery only. SDA claimed attempts to deliver at least five times which was a lie because at the times indicated the recipient of the package was at home. Now my tracking indicates that my package is destined for Melbourne Australia( I live in Sydney) but even this is not clear as advice says Melbourne Italy.
This experience with SDA is apparently a common thing for many people.
Why is this group not being reviewed? Why is it allowed to handle goods when its record is appalling? SDA is at best disorganised and incompetent!

Quite possibly the worst company on planet earth

Like everyone else here, my expensive parcel has been (presumably) lost by Post Italiane. I won’t bore with the exact circumstances but needless to say the usual applies - no contact or communication from customer services, infrequent, unclear misleading updates on the tracking, unable to speak to anyone. The most bizarre thing is that Royal Mail/Parcelforce are STILL handing over peoples parcels to this absolute disgrace of a company. What a joke that is. Poste Italiane should be considered a National shame and embarrassment for all Italians. Usually with this amount of negative feedback and complaints it’s enough for a company to be closed down, especially within the EU. Unfortunately this won’t happen because of the totally corrupt system in place in Italy. When people here say this is the worst company on planet earth, there is every chance they are totally correct. Trying to save 10% on shipping by going with ParcelForce/PostItaliane could end up costing me a small fortune. Just go with UPS or FedEx. AVOID POSTE ITALIANE AT ALL COSTS

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE!! The worst company in the world. I sent the parcel on 22nd November from the UK to my friends in Sorrento, Italy. The parcel was delivered just yesterday morning (04/01/2022) looking quite scruffy. It went all over the Italy and ended up at the Maddaloni depot. All this time I was trying to do something from here but no luck. You cannot make any contact with them!! My friends in Italy were calling them and trying to sort it out. So many lies on the way. First they said they tried to deliver before and no one was at home. LIE!! Then they said that the address was insufficient. Another LIE.. And the worst of all, my friend saw a delivery man in their neighbourhood day before yesterday and asked about the parcel again. He said he will deliver but now she will have to pay 22 euros for the service?! She did this and paid what he asked plus 5 more euros 'just for him' otherwise I am sure, he would not bother. Anyway, he just put the money in his pocket and gave her NO receipt. I am so upset and will submit an official complaint. Unprofessional and unreliable!! Horrible horrible experience!! Horrible company!!

Got something from Italy to Greece

Got something from Italy to Greece, it was sent from the supplier late on afternoon 2 days ago and it appeared on their tracking yesterday.
I received it in less than 24 hours after it appeared in their tracking, I'm very impressed!

Somewhere in the middle however it was handled by UPS who delivered it to my location since there's no SDA in Greece.

Their tracking system seems to be bad, it is not being updated in the website but it does it the Android app, so better download the app for live tracking.

I always have issues

I always have issues: parcels get lost or stuck in their "" hubs "" , the consumer service is not existent: it is more of a scam as the free phone number drops and with the email they reply to you to make a call.

Delivery Never happened

Ordered things from Amazon and delivery never happened. They wrote that I was not at home and address is not correct, but everything is good from my side. I tried to called, to write mail - no luck. Impossible to contact them, tried to use google maps, but there is no offices on the streets.

Return pick up never came

I booked a return for Zalando. I waited at home, SDA pick up never came. I called and they said I wasn't found at home. Lies. They planned a new pick up 5 days later and guess what nobody came. I ended up having to print a new return label and go to their office to have it sent.
