Had a great experience & I got what I was after just looking forward to getting it in my house now

Absolutely terrible experience with ScS Edinburgh. We ordered a sofa bed that was supposed to be delivered by the end of October 2025. On 02/10/2025, ScS even confirmed via SMS that the delivery would arrive EARLIER on 09/10/2025. Based on this confirmation, we arranged a bulk uplift and disposed of our old sofa, which was being used as a bed by my 67-year-old mother.
The very next day, ScS cancelled the delivery without any proper explanation.
After two weeks of complete silence, I had to contact the store myself to find out what was happening. I was told the transport truck had broken down and the sofa never arrived (which was a lie as been confirm by store member). Since then, weeks have passed and ScS still has no idea where our sofa is, what happened to it, or if it will ever arrive at all. What makes this even worse is the total lack of communication and responsibility. Nobody contacted us with updates. Nobody offered a proper solution. The store manager even offered us a temporary loan sofa during one of our conversations, only for that offer to later disappear for no reason.
Instead, we were pressured into accepting a completely different sofa from warehouse stock — different colour and likely a different model — simply because they lost the one we actually ordered.
We were approaching Christmas and New Year without an essential piece of furniture, while expecting family visit. Most importantly, my elderly mother has been directly affected by this situation because the sofa was her sleeping place. This entire experience has been stressful, disappointing and deeply unprofessional. I understand delays can happen, but losing a customer’s order for nearly two months and having no answers whatsoever is unacceptable. Also we were told by store manager that because of breach of contract from their side we will be entitled for a full refund of our deposit (£180), as you all can imagine this never happen either as nobody even bother to get in touch with us!! I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering from ScS, I definitely will be avoiding this store in future. Absolutley shocking experience!!! SHAME ON YOU ScS!!

Kevin at the Straiton store in Edinburgh gave the best customer service I have received in a long time. He was SO well informed about the products in store and gave us demonstrations and talked through features with us. There was no 'pushy' sale from him, he gave us time and space to walk around the store, leave and come back to make our mind up. I highly recommend this store and the service received.

They were very good and clear ,our furniture arrived on time ,the delivery men were first class and cleared up after them in all very pleased with the whole thing.

Our sofa delivery was initially postponed twice, but we were kept informed. The third date was only a few weeks later than expected, and we received an email and text the night before with a 5 hour time slot. That morning, we received a text with a half hour time slot and then a phone call 25 minutes before they arrived. They were friendly and set the sofa up perfectly. A first rate experience.

Great customer service

It was my 1st time in this store. Was an amazing experience bright & clean. So many to choose from. When finally picked one, Arron the manager dealt with the sale. He was very informative & a pleasure to deal with him, offering coffee speaking to you as a normal person. He is a credit to your company. Thanks for making my visit a good experience.

The delivery guys were very friendly and professional . Took care when unwrapping my couch and changing the legs. I was kept up to date with timings of when they would arrive. The only negative is that I was emailed at 16.14 to inform me that my couch would be delivered the next day between 10-3pm. I feel should have more notice than this

Great selection and customer service in the store is excellent. Kevin’s help was well timed, concise and informative. We bought a sofa and a fabulous recliner chair.

The staff was great they did not follow us and left us to browse ourselves. Then were very helpful when we were ready to purchase.

Picking my new sofa was made so very easy and straight forward.
There was no pressure put on you when we initially went to look. Then Stef was our sales person.
From start to finish I felt like her advice was honest & trustworthy to suit what I was looking for.
By the end I felt like she was a friend rather than someone the sales consultant.

Our settee was only 1 year old so having kept the paperwork on our phone made the ordering of a matching chair so easy

I cant review the company until I recieve my sofa and chairs until i recieve them. Which is apparently going to take 14 weeks. Which is a long time to wait for delivery

Got no hassle coming in to the shop had a good look round the place we liked a corner suite we asked one of your assistants about it the lady was very friendly told us everything about the suite and about what happens if we were going to buy it so we decided to buy it and we would give it 10 out of 10 for the whole experience thank you 👍🏻👏😄😃
