The scout leaders from all over the world were really inspirational for the children. All activities were fabulous and all very different.

While our visit was brief, the staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful with our needs. The activities on offer for young people are second to none. The space available is huge and it's so easy to forget you're so close to a town.

The equipment in the lodge on arrival was not up to the usual and expected standard.
The condition of 1 of the rooms was not as we were told on arrival.

The experience once there was great- the staff were brilliant and really helpful. As the trip leader it was brilliant to have one person to go to for questions.
The booking and organising pre-visit however, was extremely stressful. It was hard to get hold of anyone and due to not having done this before, I ended up incurring a large financial loss. Maybe a face to face or even virtual meeting at the start of the process to talk things through would have helped?

Great two-day school residential trip, would highly recommend. Instructors were knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Definately do the campfire, the kids absolutely loved this!

Awesome as always. We find the Leadership Team, Megan, Jessie, Jodie all brilliant and so helpful and the admin staff are exceptional too. The Duty Managers are always good and we are appreciative of everything they do.

Staff on site very helpful. Due to the rain found other activities for us to do. Building we hire clean and ready before time. All the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a great time

Summer 2023 we had a 5 day summer camp Monday to Friday at Great Tower Scout Adventure Centre in the Lake District. What a week it was!
The staff were amazing! They instructors really engaged so well with both kids and leaders. The activities that were put on were just right.
I will admit we cheated and had the catered package. I don’t regret it though. The food was amazing!
Overall our whole Troop were very happy with our experience and as a result we’re booking with Scout Adventures again this year but with a different site.

Woking with the team at GT ensured we had a well prepared programme that was fully supported by the staff

1st Hartfield Cubs and Scouts had an amazing weekend at Broadstone Warren. The instructors were brilliant - Definitely would recommend.

Great venue, staff very helpful and easy process to book.

We had a great time and the young people were happy with the friendly staff and instructors.

Friendly and helpful staff, children really enjoyed a range of activities. Being able to cater for ourselves is very cost effective. Accommodation was mostly clean.
Lots of communication would be very beneficial to ensure we're clear on expectations in terms of confirming numbers moving forward.

We enjoyed all the activities and felt we had enough time on each one. We liked the flexibility with the timings to start when we were ready. We had Max with us for the day but met others throughout the day who were friendly too which was nice and we liked Max's music.

We were there to shoot a short film relating to our film degree. We found the staff to be very helpful, accomodating to our needs and the facilities were absolutely spot on. Nothing was too much trouble for Gilwell Park although we may have asked for too much at times, we understand that the site has rules and regulations that were not possible to change. All in all a great experience.
