False advertising

The product was nothing like the advertisment and was of such poor quality that it couldn't be used. It took over a month to arrive only to not work. It didn't have any of the features that were advertised at all

I have never had such a bad experience!

I am currently trying to get them to admit they sent the wrong item. Been giving me the run around for over a week now with no resolution so far. I have sent many emails and photos and now telling me they are ‘waiting for a response’…. From who? I thought they were the ones who need to respond. Very disappointing service especially because they are in the wrong by sending incorrect item. Do not deal with these people. Terrible experience

Orthopedic Sandals - not

I purchased a pair of "Orthopedic Retro Sandals" from Zarenza thinking they were a European company and they would be good quality (like the picture on the website!) and because I have plantar fascitis in my feet. They arrived finally after a month and I am still in shock. No labels or anything - just in a plastic bag. Not even anything on the sandals themselves. No arch support, cheap crappy vinyl and plastic - like some cheap shower shoes - definitley from China - there are Chinese stickers underneath the address label on the plastic packaging. Apparently, according to other similar reviews, you have to pay for them to be returned to China! What to do?! Do I even bother or clock this up to a bad experience and lose $69.95 - these are supposedly reduced from $140!! Not even worth $10! UPDATE: I have complained and told them exactly what I thinbk of them and that I have reported them to scamwatch but just get cheery emails back saying: we're sorry to hear that the product didn't fully meet your expectations. We'd like to work together to find a solution that suits you and increases your satisfaction. We have a few fantastic alternatives in mind for you:
Option 1: You can choose to keep your order, and as a gesture of appreciation, we offer you a 30% refund of the purchase price. This allows you to keep the product and benefit from a significant discount.
Option 2: As a second alternative, we'd like to offer you a gift card worth 60% of the purchase amount. With this gift card, you can explore other products in our range and enjoy additional savings on your future purchases. It's a great opportunity to try something new while retaining your original order. You can find the link to our website at the bottom of this email.
We want to emphasize that choosing either of these options is not only beneficial for you but also for the environment. It helps reduce returns and contributes to sustainability. Additionally, returns to Asia, given the different warehouses we use, can be costly and are best avoided."
It's like they are not even reading the emails to them and are in complete denial. And you have to send them back to China - what a surprise! What happened to the Netherlands!! I have opted for the 30% refund and once I get it (IF I get it) I will block them. That seemed to be ther only way I would not be a full $70 out of pocket - only $we're sorry to hear that the product didn't fully meet your expectations. Ha! See China! What happened to the Netherlands? I was first only offered 15% back - the more you complain the more they give you. I did opt for 30% back so we shall see if comes. I figured I would only lose $49 then.

BEWARE, THIS COMPANY IS NOT TRANSPARENT

Zarenza Australia say they are a company that is transparent TO CUSTOMERS with their shipping and refund policies, THIS IS UNTRUE.
What they do not tell you is that they make it appear you are purchasing your goods from Australia.
So when you agree to their refund policy of paying for return postage, you think it will be to an address within Australia.
NO, IT IS AN ADDRESS IN CHINA.
They also try to dissuade you in emails with other offers, before allowing you to gain a refund.
They are misleading and manipulating their customers.
I have read through all their policies and there is nowhere it states that a customer has to post it back to China, yet I have it in print in an email from Zarenza Australia that they state this.
When I sent an email back with screenshots of their actual shipping and return policies for customers, TO PROVE IT DID NOT STATE THIS, they ghosted my emails.
This is one of the worst online companies I have ever dealt with.
They advertise as an Australian and New Zealand company but if you want to phone them, you have to phone the Netherlands, Sarenza.
There is no way you can deal with this company except via email and the emails have no signed return name.
BEWARE
AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Orthopedic Footwear

I ordered a pair of Hesda/Skin Adjustable Orthopedic Sandals advertised on the Zarenza Australia website for $63.50 and I was sent a pair of sandals from their warehouse in China. The sandals I received were nothing like the sandals on my order, they were cheap and very light with an inner soles of small round lumps.
When I said I wanted to return the sandals I was offered these options:
1. They will send me quote "The product that brings you joy" you just need to make a contribution of 14.95 EUR to cover costs.
2. You can keep your order and we offer you a 30% refund of the purchase price.
3. We offer you a gift card worth 60% of the purchase amount for further purchases with Zarenza.
I refused all these offers and said I just wanted to return the sandals. I then received a return form with an address of their warehouse in China to send the sandals back to. Plus being told I am responsible for the shipping costs and that I had 30 days from the date of delivery which was 23/9/24 to return them. They alkso must be in the original packaging and unused. When I received the sandals from China they were in a plastic bag with a 39 sticker on the plastic bag which was split from being folded in half with the sandals in it. I haven't returned the sandals due to having to pay for their return when I was sent sandals I didn't order.
I will not be ordering anything from Zarenza Australia again and I just wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before ordering the sandals.
Warning to anyone ordering Orthopedic Footwear from Zarenza Australia, this could happen to you as well.

Only so much can be explained away as incompetence

Long delays in shipping accompanied by marketing emails with misleading headings such as, 'Good news about your order', when there was no news, or, 'Your order is on its way', when it evidently wasn't. Nothing but advertising in those emails.

Eventually Zarenza provided a tracking number. It yielded no information except extended delivery periods On searching the internet it couldn't be found.

The same tracking number was sent originally for both orders but with two different estimated times of delivery stated on the (unpopulated) records that came up. 🥴. A request for explanation of that was ignored. There was also no response to a subsequent request for an ETD.

In view of that I asked for a cancellation. That was met by empty assertions that, 'your order has been processed and can't be cancelled'. No tracking proof of that, obviously.

The orders were finally sent c. Two weeks after placement. They both came in the same unpadded plastic post bag under yet another tracking number.

Apparently the earlier numbers were dummies giving a false impression that the goods were in transit when they were not.

The orders were for shoes that were marketed as orthopaedic. They are definitely not that. In addition they are poor quality of the kind available for about a 1/4 of the price at discount stores such as Temu.

Zarenza offered 10% welcome discount codes that didn't work at check out. On being advised they offered to refund 10% of the full price already paid to my PayPal account: which they did. Then, when asked for a refund due to non delivery, they claimed that this courtesy payment proved that, 'the order', had already been refunded!

Queries about one order were consistently answered as if they were queries about the other as if they had no record of the first.

Delivery is not by Australia Post except as last stage carrier. It appears that Zarenza is accepting orders for delivery in Australia (7-12 days) then placing the orders in China? for cheap knock offs. Hence the long delays and reluctance to supply information about shipping. Also hence the poor quality and lack of protective packaging.

Zarenza? My advice? Avoid like the plague.

BTW in addition to all the gas lighting they told an outright lie to PayPal saying they had paid a refund outside the PayPal system. As if. 🙄 There is no record of any such transaction, which never occurred.

Scam? Not sure but terrible customer service

Scam?
Ordered shoes 10 days ago with track and trace postage and still has not been dispatched. Requested to cancel the order but they claim it has been sent so can’t cancel. Emailed multiple times requesting cancellation and refund or tracking number and nothing provided with the worst customer service I have experienced for a long time. Lots of cut and paste responses but no solid proof it has been sent. Disputing with bank l.

I have bought 2 pairs of Kickers Sushy…

I have bought 2 pairs of Kickers Sushy blue and brown for my twins after 3–4 times of use, the stitching has opened and the sole has broken. On Kicker's website, it says that their shoes are robust and durable for children. Sarenza has rejected my claim as they believe it is due to use after 3-4 times. Don't buy from Sarenza after they have changed owner of the company, the service has become so bad. They dont answer your emails. You cant call them.

If there was a zero star I would choose…

If there was a zero star I would choose it! I ordered what was marketed as " orthopaedic footwear" of a high quality. I have very painful feet which need good shoes. The tracking said they were sent from Holland with Danish branding. I received them, no brand, in a plastic bag, light as a feather with cheap, shiny fabric and foam soles with no support at all. The fitting is very wide and fall off my feet straight away. Then on the " returns" conversation, I find out they are from some random city in China and I need to pay to return them with no guarantee of them ever arriving..... wasted $80 on shoes that would sell for under $5 in a Chinese market. I think " catfished" is the term for this! Very angry.

Thieves

This company stole money from my PayPal account and I never ordered anything. I don't understand how these foreign companies constantly get away with stealing hard earned money from Americans. So sick of them

Sarenza.nl is useless

Sarenza.nl is useless. Based on their T&C I applied for a Welcom-discount, but they refuse to grant it and a day after my complaint, they have updated their T&Cs. Pity company, not worth to buy from.
