Mitigated opinion- brand image in gap with product display

My husband offered me “Lost treasure” necklace for the birth of our first child. I love the design it is really special ! However for the price when we received it the quality seems really “ cheap” and “unfinished details” . The size of mesh of the necklace are also really too small ( more than the picture) which makes it insanely fragile .
The packaging is neglected and cheap , bringing a poor customer experience.
Furthermore not being able to find any comment of customer of the brand on instagram , Facebook … makes it really difficult to trust the serious and transparency of the brand .

However we asked for a full refund and got it without any issues . Good point.

Still mitigated on where is the border between product quality and brand image to ensure trust !

What a disappointment! Extremely disengaged customer service

What a disappointment! After years of following this company and witnessing their growth I am now left with question how did that happen - their growth?!
I was even contemplating for my wedding band to be designed by them but now I have been reassured that I have chosen well by just going with a standard old-fashioned route.
I’ve placed an order that was delivered in a very poor presentation box. ‘Luckily’ this was just a gift to myself.
Earring itself did not look like the picture presented on the website: quite delicate and diamonds was super tiny not even able to reflect the light.
Earring was on sale and the price paid for it just doesn’t justify the quality found in that cheap looking box.
I have given this rating two stars as it was 18 karat gold and the style of the earring was as per picture just super tiny version.

The main issue is that the Sansoeurs Customer Service did not want to cooperate in any way for me to exchange this item for another one- I could not get a refund as this was the term of the sale ( explained by Sansoeurs team via email);there was no scope or willingness for them to turn me into a satisfied customer, who would have returned back, by showing some flexibility within their customer service approach.
I have asked for an exchange for something else ( a plain item and more safer option considering the experience with exclusive item purchased from the distance)- if no refund can be given- they said again just plain ‘no’ quoting again their no refund/return policy on this earring.

Be careful! What the website advertise it is not what you will receive and you will receive it in a very cheap looking presentation box too.

Also, their earrings have little ball closures filled with the silicone- how safe and lasting this is?! Is it time-proof as Gold should be? This earring stability is solemnly dependent on this ball. I was not satisfied with that fact; for some reason this has escaped me when reviewing description of this earring (it wasn’t there!).

I thought I was finally treating myself with something that I was admiring for years from the far; instead I have just thrown my hard earned money away.

I am truly disappointed with my purchase and customer service received post the sale.
You would assume when dealing internationally, business and its ethos should represent their profile as a fair trader not just money grabbing box.

Sansoeurs will not work within the boundaries of customer satisfaction; it is all about the sale- not the presence they leave as a business who wants to represent elegance, innovation and luxury whilst aspiring trust to their audience ( customer).

Very sad indeed.

Cheap Service - Amazing ring

This style is rare, and the jewels are magnificent. Unfortunately, the quality of the jewellery box, transport and customer service is very appalling.
Regarding the box: there is no distinct mark to open it, so the ring can fall out every time. In addition, these cases can be found on Ali Express. If I'd been proposed to with this type of box, I hope my husband would have had the common sense to change the box.

Concerning the carrier: the ring is vulgarly put in a cardboard box surrounded by bubble wrap and then in a basic plastic bag from DHL. What a surprise to see this when you've ordered a €3500 ring lol!

Finally, the customer service is relatively deplorable and won't cooperate in the slightest, even though we have proof of the mistakes they made.

A totally wasted experience and the ring was returned. What a shame!

Luxury supposed to offer a high service…

Luxury supposed to offer a high service for a certain amount of euros...here you spent more than 500€ and you get the service of an gas station...
The delivery was a nightmare due to a cheap solution made (gig economy) so it's not a pro that will deliver your 500€ jewel..which means that you will wait a lot without any information or fake ones.
The "after service" was on the same level, many smiles and sweet words for zero solution..
Guys you are not a luxury brand, just another ephemerial trendy small business that will disappear as soon as arrived..

Avoid. Diamonds are luxury, this company isn’t

If you are considering making a purchase from Sansoeurs, do not. The valuation for the ring I purchased online, which arrived a day before the start of the 2nd UK lockdown, came at less than half its price tag (inflated in sterling, too).

Before purchasing, I asked for reassurances on the standard and origin of the diamonds. I was lead to believe I’d receive a certificate of colour and quality, as well some paperwork on the origin. In actuality, what arrived with the diamond was a business card that simply stated G/VS - so you must take their word for it; do not. I thought “perhaps the paperwork is coming separately”. I should have sent it back straight away.

The ring arrived packed in an ordinary card box, with bad-quality printed promotional postcards, and the business card I mention above. The quality of the packaging and stationary should again have made alarm-bells ring. The actual box for the ring is elegant in black velvet material. No certificates or guarantees on fair origin are available.

When I heard on the valuation, delayed by a month due to the lockdown, and I asked to return the item, they refused to provide an address for the return, arguing the delay in the valuation is none of their business. This is in spite of the Spanish government issuing, for the Spanish March lockdown, a law that asked business to extend return periods during lockdown. They also stopped replying to my emails when I asked for “hojas de reclamación”, a complaints procedure which is a legal requirement for stores in Spain.

Overall a most disappointing experience, not a brand that is at the level of the materials they sell: diamonds are a luxury and this store is substandard at everything, from packaging, to product, to attention to detail, to post-sale service or even any attempt at managing their PR. A real shame that has left me seeking legal advice. Will stick to makers I know well in the future, hoping to spare someone else the heartache!
