Zero customer service at Salsa (salsastore.com)

I bought a Salsa leather jacket in El Corte Ingles, Palma de Mallorca. The jacket is great but a zipper on the sleeve lost the little metal piece that you hold when you zip/unzip it. That is to say that the zipper in itself is working when you insert a needle or likewise when you zip it. I then wrote to Salsa's main office asking for a replacement, offering to pay both the part and postage. In their answer they said that l had to go to the store where l bought it. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark and the store is on Mallorca, Spain. I would estimate the prize of the zipper part to less than 1/2 an euro....obviously l don't have in mind to buy a flight and book a hotel in order to recover a 50 cents piece. I then wrote the company several times explaining that problem. The Salsa company has in no moment offered any other solution than going to Spain for it. Spending aprox. € 500 on a jacket and then getting no customer service feels like a blow. I would strongly suggest not to buy any Salsa garments unless you buy it in a physical shop you can return to in case of trouble. It is, no doubt, the worst customer service l have come across ever.
As a person that loves to travel l will surely avoid getting any Salsa products abroad again. A very very disappointing experience.
