Dont loan from this conpany

I am a work immigrant to the Netherlands. I came here without any money in savings because in my original country it's almost impossible to save up enough money that it makes any difference in the Netherlands, and also my family could not help me.

I was basically on my own, only relying on the salary that I would earn from my new job in the Netherlands.

First half of the year was smooth for me. I got a BSN, opened a Dutch bank account and found a place to rent. But then after half a year it happened that I needed more money than I had for a short time.

After a really thorough research I can say that for a migrant like me Saldodipje is the only, and I really mean the only provider of small loans. The only alternative to it is overdraft on your bank account, like what ABN Amro has.

Saldodipje can give you a loan, so it can save you in a situation of financial hardship. It has small interest rate if you have a guarantor, but if you do not have a guarantor, like I didn't have one, then you pay additional fees for about 30-40% of your loan amount. Someone would say it's a lot, but when you have nowhere to take money, and when you need it, you are in luck that they give money at all, and 30-40% additional fees do not look bad. In my country of origin these additional fees can add up to 100% or more so 30-40% really looks fair for me.

What I really don't like is how unreliable Saldodipje can be. You really shouldn't count on it that it gives you a loan. For example I was using it without problems for a long time, but then for some reason its automatic scoring system decided that I am not eligible even when my situation hasn't changed. They are not able to see why the scoring system decided it and they are not able to ignore its result. So basically with Saldodipje your fate is decided by a machine and a machine will not tell you why you are not eligible out of sudden. If you got and repaid without any delay the loan in the previous month, this month you may not get it again even if your salary got higher.

Another thing that makes Saldodipje not really reliable is that every third month there are errors on the website. Sometimes you start a loan application and it ends with "Onbekende fout" which means "Unknown error". So you just have to try again later hoping that they fix the website. Sometimes Onbekende fout happens before you find out that you are not eligible for a loan. So try to not get into a situation where Saldodipje is your only hope because at that moment they can have another error with their website or scoring system may act weird

After all I am thankful that Saldodipje exists. It really helped me a lot and I am glad that its algorithm views me as a good customer because I definitely am. I recommend anyone to use it but reasonably, and keep in mind that if it worked once or ten times it doesn't mean that it will work on the eleventh time

They have a hidden fee that they add onto your bill .143 euros on a 500 euro lending.

for those who die in the future who might end up on this post by Googling "saldodipje". Whatever your situation, please try to avoid this company. I myself worked in the administrative department of a credit bank for a while, and the most harrowing events often involved the balance dip. From what I remember, the interest rates there are absolutely predatory, around 15% per year. On their website they know exactly how to use the right words to sound attractive to those with low financial literacy. It is chock full of 5 star reviews that all talk about how quickly the money arrived, how easy it is to arrange, that you only have to provide documentation afterwards. What is of course not mentioned is that this company is extremely cunning in sending fines, reminders, etc. as quickly as possible. They are even better at this than in transferring money quickly, because they know exactly where the boundaries of the law lie.

badest moment in my liife that when i asked for a 500 euros loan from you many pepers and when you asked for that i paid immediatk=ly the loan back and you still need the papers after i paid that was crazy
