The intake of my claim was easy and prompt. She took all the information and told me the timeframe for the agent to contact me. The agent contacted me within her predicted timeframe. The agent, Mr.... See more

Everything was wonderful except for 1 major part of the claim. During the claim process (about 1 month total), I was only able to get in contact with my claims adjuster a total of 3 times - once to do the initial discussion, to schedule the mitigation team, and then to get set up with housing. All information regarding my claim was given to me by the lovely claims line personnel. Without a proper claims adjuster, I was highly uninformed of the process and what I needed to do during the process. I eventually had to get in contact with the director to get my claim payments and was met with excuses rather than a proper explanation. Other than the extreme unprofessionalism shown to me by the claims adjuster and director, Sagesure did ensure that everything was taken care of in regards to housing and assistance.

I went with sagesure in April 2025. Answered all the questions thay asked. Paid a full year premium. They said they would send an inspector out in about 2 weeks. Took about 2 weeks to get the inspection results. They then send a cancellation notice because of a undisclosed dog on the property. The dog was disclosed during the question and answer phase. The reason given for cancellation was hazards beyond the normal. They said the dog was a restricted breed. My dog is a boxer. They are keeping like $250.00 of my money. Something told me not to cancel my other insurance quite yet. I am so glad I didn’t. Something just didn’t feel right. $250.00 lesson learned.
Update:
Just got off the phone with Kathy Day from SageSure. She took care of everything to my satisfaction as far as refund and apologize for how thing happened. SageSure Kathy Day is a keeper! Thank you Kathy for your professionalism.

Croupt!!! Incompetent scamming liars!!! I have Sage Sure insurance during Hurricane Helen when our house was damaged. Over the course of 6 months I went though 5 different adjusters all without notice of a change of adjuster until i called to get updates. I was told different information by each adjuster all of whom passed the blame to the previous adjuster being wrong. Then ultimately was extremely under compensated for the repairs. Due to their CONTINUAL LIES! I ended up coming out of pocket several thousand dollars and was forced to complete much of the work myself. Absolute nightmare of a company

The most dishonest, skeeviest company I've ever encountered. Was recommended them for homeowners insurance via a broker as I bought a new home. All info was given to them about the home and I paid my annual premium. Fast forward two months of them waffling on insuring my home only to send me the nastiest letter that I misrepresented my home info. Reasons outlined were details given to them upfront when they offered insurance. I can't imagine the hell of making a claim with this comapny if enrolling with them is this bad. Still waiting on my refund.

I'll preface this with that I was a NC insurance agent with multiple licenses and sold and underwrote thousands of policies for 7 years.
My complaints:
The customer service agents are ignorant and incredibly rude. Managers reading this, listen to my call on 6/4/2025 at 8:23am and be prepared to fire someone. The company added up all the policy fees incorrectly and overcharged me. 3 customer service reps, 2 managers, 4 phone calls,1 email, 1 chat and still no one can answer my simple question. They always say they'll get back to me but never do. They've also failed to disclose policy fees, which is illegal in NC, so I filed a complaint with the NC Insurance Commissioners office since no one wants to help me from there. I've been left no choice and they backed me into a corner. I wonder how a claim will go if they can't even explain a mysterious fee they charged me for. You've been warned.

Communication and Trust were Paramount throughout the Claims Process. Our Adjuster was thorough and honest with the final assertion. We had a new roof in under three weeks from the original Claim being made. Easy to work with. Easy to talk with. Honest answers to complex questions and consistently trustworthy.

I appreciate my adjuster Aaron keeping me informed whenever there’s communication between him and a third party vendor/company concerning my insurance claim. Seeing it through together!
