Edit: Casino Management apologized for my experience in an email. They said nothing to change my review.

Note: The name of this company should be Resort World Casino, Catskills, not rwcatskills.

Hello. I have been playing at casinos for about twenty years now. On my 60th birthday, I registered for the first time at Resort World Casino Catskills. I brought $200 with me, and a card to get more if needed. Here is a summary of my experience:

Poor signage in the parking lot. It was late afternoon, but no lights lit up in the parking lot or on the buildings. There was no way to know where the main entrance is. I rely on a walker and parked by the wrong building. I had to walk quite a way to get inside.

Once inside, I had to find guest services to get a player's card. I waited in line, while VIP players kept jumping, and there was only one person working at the time. Eventually, two more reps joined, and I got some help.

After I registered, I was handed a card. The rep gave me no registration comps, and didn't even say "Happy Birthday". I pointed out that it was my birthday, and she looked at me like "What, do you expect me to give you a cake? I shrugged and left with no lanyard for my card. You didn't offer them or have any on hand. I remarked to my friends that it was strange not to get free coins to play with upon registration, and how bizarre it was that the casino didn't know it was my birthday when she had to input my license into the computer. My friends agreed that it was somewhat bizarre.

I've never been at a casino where the card tables were so mixed in with the slots. This is very confusing for slot players.

I've never been to a casino that did not provide free and ample soft drinks and some limited alcoholic beverages to players.

I've never been to a casino that had so little player resources. No water, distant bathrooms, lack of redemption machines and again, a vast lack of signage.

I sat down at a few machines. None of them were familiar to me so I didn't know what I liked to play. I like to go big, so I eventually sat down and bet $2.00 after I deposited a $100 bill. My balance dropped to sixty and I was awarded 21 free spins which paid out a little over $2.00.

I was thirsty, and the chairs were very heavy. Since I use a walker, I had to find a place for it and then move the chair so I could sit down. There were plenty of lurkers checking to see if I left money in my machines, but nobody helped a disabled woman get sorted.

I tried to play a few more machines, but none of my bonus rounds paid more than a couple of dollars no matter the amount I bet.

I was not impressed, and for the first time in my life I was actually happy to leave with no winnings.

I spent $100 and brought the other $100 home. There was no point in even playing.

This is the first time I have never spent all of my money at a casino. That's how bad it was!

If you haven't already guessed, this guest was not at all impressed.

Worst casino ever

Worst casino ever! Hard to win anything here, I'm a local who played thousands of dollars every month and went here weekly, time and time again this casino will blatantly take your money without any problem, no bonuses or anything. I've never seen anything like it, This casino should be looked out and investigated because something is just not right here, Everybody I know who goes here says the same thing. Since the pandemic this company has gotten so greedy, hardly any comps or low comps and staff is unprofessional and rude.
