Unprofessional

This company installed a number of windows and a door in my house back in 2016. The work was generally of a decent standard. But due to (I suspect) our disagreement about the billing of extras, the company withheld my FENSA guarantee at the time and has ignored my recent requests for the paperwork (made because I was selling the house). When I recently rang FENSA the person I spoke to said they had no record of the work ever having being done.
My other 'interesting' experience was that one of their installers cut his hand in my kitchen, didn't clear up the blood stains properly and then applied plasters when in my garden, leaving the plaster wrappers on the lawn.
The windows were OK but decent customer service was very much lacking. In the end my conclusion is that this company is a rather unprofessional outfit.
By the way, while they were unwilling to talk or correspond with me they are still happy to feature one of my windows on their website!

Used this company a year ago for…

Used this company a year ago for replacement windows. Received the final bill but many elements were not finished or poorly finished - some windows had moulding on the cills, some not; most of the pins weren’t aligned to the stay so the pressure caused the stays to snap off; gaps in paintwork where mouldings meet frames; poorly finished concreting of gaps; many of the handles are loose in their fixing, not as per the approved samples; the windows were dirty inside and out. He came back to address the majority of the snagging list pending final payment but blamed the handles on the manufacturer. Now the draught excluder is coming away from several windows, they rattle in the wind and the concrete is crumbling away exposing the gap. Three emails over several weeks have not had a reply despite the 20 year guarantee of which 19 years remain.
