Look elsewhere, save your money!

I would strongly recommend to look elsewhere when purchasing a bike. I wanted a steel MTB hardtail to build, and thought it would be great to support a small Canadian brand. However, what I found were many, many quality control issues that led to a warranty recall in the first 2 months of owning an RSD Bikes MiddleChild CrMo. Fast forward 9 months later to February 2021, the headaches of receiving the new frame and having more quality control issues was the icing on the cake. In order to receive a new frame, I had to physically destroy my previous that was fully built. That process alone would never happen with a bigger brand. The new frame had terrible threading from the factory in Taiwan on the drive side bottom bracket in which needed to be retapped by a local bike shop. When I finally pieced the bike together and took the protective tape off the headbadge, it peeled some of the paint. Needless to say, spend your money elsewhere or you'll be in a world of trouble purchasing from this brand.
