after recieving parcel two days ago…

after recieving parcel two days ago items missing out of smashed box, i re ordered the three items again, they were sent out 48hour post, suppossed to be delivered today between 8 and 12, its past the time, again, very annoying, they smash the box then dont deliver on time perthetic all together really going down hill. its now 2.15 no update, if not recieved today onto complaints for late delivery again ,48 hours is not fourdays.it arrived at14.40 nearly 3 hours late.

You need to train your posties to read…

You need to train your posties to read and have some common sense. Pills delivered by post in a stiff A4 cardboard envelope marked do not bend. Bent to less than A4 to get in a letter box. I have a door intercom use the flipping thing

Frustrating

Email received that delivery will be today , went on App and updated to deliver to my neighbour in case I’m out when arrive To find delivery has now been changed has now changed to tomorrow with a note they will deliver to my neighbour!!!!! How can they get something so simple so wrong

I just want to say how lovely Royal…

I just want to say how lovely Royal Mail are every time I get a delivery. They deliver on time, do every effort to leave the parcel with me i.e. simply ring the bell and wait which most other couriers simply don't do. Not sure why Royal Mail get bad rep when in my experience they are the only delivery company who actually deliver on time, communicate well and are friendly. This is for SE London.

Do not use Royal Mail Prescription…

Do not use Royal Mail Prescription service. My first time of using and last. My medication Phenelzine ( An MAOI anti-depressant) has to be stored in a fridge as it oxidises at room tempreture. They told me that they are delivered stored in a fridge. My normal postman delivered them this morning warm. Fuming. They are ruined now.

Absolutely disgusting attitude

Absolutely disgusting attitude!
Just had a knock at the door for a delivery for my partner. Got to the door, and no one is there.
Driver comes from my back garden to say shed isn't unlocked, stating it say to leave it there.
Where does it say to leave in shed, it states shed!
Then I stated I thought that was if the person isn't in and he advised he knocked but doesn't have time to wait all day. In the few minutes it took me to get to my door, the person had decided I wasn't in, walked to my back garden, checked my shed is unlocked and walked back to my front door.
What if the person you are delivering to has a disability, mobility issues, elderly or has mental health issues.
Absolutely disgusting attitude - do better Royal Mail.
I will not be using this service for a while as this has truly left a bad taste!

The worst choice for sending items.

This is quite possibly the most overpriced service that excels in extremely poor service. Through a mistake of their own my parcel has been sent to the wrong sorting office & there are no tracking updates for the last 12 hours & I'm meant to rely that they will update me once it worked its way through their network? Trying to contact them is not made easy so my expensive item could be anywhere & i have no idea when or if it's arriving by the time I need it. The company selling the item rushed it to Royal Mail & paid for 24 hour tracked delivery but what a waste of time that was. No updates on the tracking since telling me they sent it to the wrong place & I need this item tomorrow, but I have no idea if this will happen now. Such a hopeless company that feels like its always cutting services, yet charging more for the privilege. It's a company i would never use if I needed to get anything somewhere fast. Unsurprisingly the staff at Royal Mail are always busy with complaints so the expected waiting time to speak to anyone is +20 mins. The 24 hour tracked service, by their own admission, is not a guarantee, so expect 3 days for your items to be delivered. You have to question what you are paying for when entrust this company with your products. Fortunately the tracking shows Royal Mail's incompetence and I can see the seller has done all they can to run a successful business. Just a shame RM don't share the same work ethic.

Royal Mail are such a crap company now!

Royal Mail are such a crap company now!

I had a special order delivery and wondered why had not received it when it said it was delivered and signed for.

Turns out they had a completely different address on the parcel that the company’s label had on the same parcel.

And to top it off it was just left on the other address window sill.

With this being such an expensive item this is just unacceptable service.

But Royal Mail don’t care.

Wish I could give zero stars!

Bad customer service and poor complaint handling

Sent a package internationally. It got misrouted and returned to me well over a month later!

I phoned up to complain. I was placed on hold for a very long time, my call took 1hr 7 minutes. In the end they said it was a customs issue and I should contact German customs somehow to sort it out even though I don’t get paid an hourly rate. So why is this my job?

We went through the customs label and actually verified it was 100% complete anyway with nothing missing so I can’t see how it should be my job to chase it up.

They also said I won’t get a refund on postage paid which makes me mad since it was misrouted through no fault of my own! Not only no refund but also no reply to my complaint! As its company policy.

Worst company ever. Such bad service. It’s unbelievable.

My mum posted my husband a £40 Amazon…

My mum posted my husband a £40 Amazon voucher for his birthday. When the envelope arrived it had been neatly cut at the end and the voucher removed. It was sent second class in a small card. I just completed a claim form to be told at the end that the maximum compensation is £20!!! Why is this. If one of your employees has stolen a voucher then why is the entire voucher not refunded. I’m disgusted that you are covering up for your dishonest employees. What I want to know is are you going to to investigate it. Get to the bottom of whoever stole it. And for you to send my husband the goods he was meant to receive.

Parcel not delivered fabricated lies

I was expecting a parcel for delivery today and waited in for it. Only to be notified that the time of delivery had changed from 11.30 to 2.30pm to 2pm to 6.40pm. It got to 4.36 and got an email stating my address was not recognised and returned to sender bearing in mind It was my monthly cold medication that needs to be kept in the fridge. I called my pharmacy and they checked my address was correct which it was. I tried calling royal mail but there was an hour long wait. I am abousloutly disgusted with royal mail. They either could not be bothered to deliver it or it has been stolen. And now I am out of medication which I needed as it was insulin. I shall be putting in a formal complaint as they have put my life at risk.I have informed my pharmacy and they are looking into to it. If I don't get my medication the result will be a trip to the hospital and then I will sue royal mail. Awful company.

No information about the parcel and sender.Second time I've received the email…

Second time I've received the email than my order been delivered...no Information about who send and what, and no options to find the information about what was delivered and proof of that...I'm very disappointed on this company. In the future I'll try to make business with someone else except Royal mail ( now I get it why the people named this company

Pay us to boot your parcel

Please earn the handling fee that you charge, I've kept photographic evidence from the colwyn bay post office hub, you charged me a handling fee after using my parcel as a rugby ball.

This is the second time it's happened, if there is a third ill submit all 3 incidents and evidence in one fell swoop.

You are being paid for a service, have some integrity.

Awful company, use a different parcel company.

I dropped a parcel off to my local parcel shop, an item of clothing had sold on vinted. That parcel went missing. I have complained twice and had no response. There is also no easy way to get in touch with Royal Mail. So it deserves a 1 star. How dare they get away with loosing parcels and not addressing the issue. That item of clothing was valuable and I could have gifted it to a friend instead. Their whole system is designed so you can’t ever get any compensation for a lost item, nor did they take any responsibility for doing so. DO NOT USE. Use a different parcel company, as they prove far better to deal with. AWFUL.

Would give no stars if possible

Would give no stars if possible. Paid for next day delivery but not arrived. This company is a joke. Why do we sell off our services to individuals whose sole interest is in lining their pockets? If you offer a service then stick to it and step up to the mark. If you can’t then for goodness sake don’t charge for empty promises. We need a second company to challenge their monopoly and poor standards of service.
