Must visit when in Edinburgh

Must visit! Beautiful Chapel. All the staff was so nice! check in, cafe, store, guides in the chapel. The guide Helen who did the talk in the chapel was amazing, she is a great storyteller. Also it was very special to be able to hear the stations of the cross prayers on Good Friday. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking, and very east to get there by bus from Edinburgh, using Lothian buses. I spent the full 90 minutes in the chapel area and do recommend getting a ticket in advance, since they do time slots. You can then also walk the castle grounds and nearby park. Admission fee was super reasonable. With the timed slots the crowd sizes are manageable. I had the best experience and highly recommend a visit.
