Look no farther...get your parts at RockAuto.com

Having an antique auto that needs a bit of TLC now, I have turned to RockAuto to get the parts I need and know that they might have. So far, they have not let me down. I place my orders early in the morning hours and get confirmation emails telling me when to expect them. And they don't lie. My orders show up within 2-4 days of placing the order. Parts are accurate and undamaged when they arrive. And the parts pages are sooo easy to read and parts are cataloged really nicely. Honestly one of the best online companies to order from!!!

ROCKAUTO ROCKS FOR ME!!

Maybe things are different in the States, but I'm not in America ... I'm in Britain.
I own a Vintage American Truck and there is nothing like the Rockauto website in Britain. It is my go to Bible for parts. I can go to precisely the exact part and all the info to make an informed decision, is there.
Every part - and I've had many - is the correct part ... every time without fail.
But here's where Rockauto really rocks!!
Today I received a very rare part and from order, to despatch, to delivered (from Southern California to Britain) 41 hours. One day, 2 sleeps and it's on my truck.
Phenomenal!!!

Misleading information

Purchased Continental tensioner kits from RockAuto that were described on the website as “developed and manufactured in Europe.” However, the parts I received were made in China and appear to be from a different manufacturer. And they charge me US$50 for return shipping.

Not bye

This is complete crap, don't buy from them. I bought a lot of parts and they should fit me 100% according to their website, but in the end they didn't fit and now they won't return the money even though I didn't use them.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM. be aware. There is no customer service. They will purposely send some wrong parts in your order. And when you return the wrong part to get a new correct part. They CHARGE YOU to ship back. Part was $40 and after a return. I got 4 dollars back. They charge double on shipping when you return. This is a SCAM company.
Also, ordered a TYC electric radiator fan for a ford explorer. It went out after 200 miles and also melted my wiring harness to plug in the electric radiator fan! Cheap garbage parts sold from this company with NO warranties of any kind. I bought a Ford motor craft radiator fan and no problems after 4k miles. You can try saving money at Rock Auto but you’ll be ending up spending more money on fixing and replacing parts sold from them.
I would not touch this place even with a 10 foot pole. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

i was charged $200 more then my invoice…

i was charged $200 more then my invoice said on my credit card, then they sent two of the shocks back to them self so im left with a bill and no parts.

they have no online support or email contact and if you call they just have a automated person saying we do not give customer service on the phone.

worst place on the planet, SCAM !

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

If I could choose less than 1 star I would have. Great selection of parts worse customer ever. Almost impossible to contact if you have an issue. When you do finally beat their system they don't bother to respond.

If I can give them zero star, I would!

I use to be a big fan of those guys and ordered all my parts from them until I started having issues with them then their true colour showed.

Absolutely horrible customer service, so many wrong parts get delivered especially for Honda civics. I got a flywheel without a box that didn't fit the vehicle, shipped it back and they told me no refund because I didn't send it in the box (when it never came in any box probably because it was damaged during shipping and FedEx just wrapped it up in clear wrapping but regardless it's not my fault).

Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more from supplies that stand behind their products and have decent customer service.

Half the time they don't even ship me the correct part, and are assholes about returns or customer feedback. It sucks that I HAVE to give them a star.

If reviews could be less than one star...

If reviews could be less than one star, this would be one of them. Their website sucks. Their return process sucks. Their customer service is nonexistent. They make FedEx promises for $35.00 and don't deliver. I spent almost $50 on an $8 part, and I have yet to receive it. They charge shipping taxes (way to go, Texas!). I tried to get a refund, but navigating their website isn't worth $50 of my time (I know, I have tried). Find another vendor. This is the last time I'm sending my business to Rock Auto.

Ive been a Mechanic for over 45 years

Ive been a Mechanic for over 45 years. I have 8 cars. 2 of my cars, Rock auto's Website and the help section is completely useless and don't show the correct part's for a couple of my car's so far, A 96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra, and a 2014 Dodge Durango. It takes so much time on the site to find the correct parts i need. I need a site easier and faster. I'm not using Rock auto any more. I have much more Success with Amazon and Ebay. I have never gotten a Wrong or Damaged Part form them, and they are much easier and usually have free Shipping.

Don't buy anything from RockAuto no warrantee on WALKER 14735 (OE Design)…

I purchased a WALKER 14735 (OE Design) Manifold Converter EPA; Includes Front Gasket from them 115 days ago which failed (inside parts are rattling around and engine light came on)being that it is past 30 day RockAuto will not warranty it. my machinic said he never seen one fail this quickly and recommended to replace with AutoZone product that has a true 5 year warranty on it. You will pay more but you pay once.

I feel like they robbed me

I ordered a radiator and included next day shipping. I was charged full price. The radiator did not come in until five days later. They still charged me next day shipping. Now they are saying they will not cover the shipping and I also was charged $100 to send it back. I spent a total of $235 didn’t get the radiator didn’t use the radiator and they’re trying to only send me $34 back. I do not recommend this terrible service to anyone.

Ordered a throttle body for a Cadillac…

Ordered a throttle body for a Cadillac and the part had previously been installed. You can see the marks on the aluminum from the bolt heads. Plus Rockauto charges you to return a part that clearly was their fault for sending. Bad business.

Non existing customer service

Non existing customer service. I bought the ball joint for my car, and the part didn't fit. I double checked my car model was entered correctly. And the parts description was "front lower ball joint". It costed me €200 to get the part immediately locally due to their misrepresentation of the part. I will never see my money back. I will avoid this store in the future due to the non existing customer service.

Very poor customer service

It's good as long as you don't have trouble. I ordered a part and had trouble. By the time I was done getting a mechanic second opinion, finding a new part, ordering and waiting for the new part, scheduling a mechanic to r&r the new part (during Thanksgiving) the 59 day return deadline expired. I then received an email stating such and further proceeding to argue that I made an error in part selected. I now have an extra catalytic converter that works but makes noise. And, advertised as direct fit for a Honda cr-v same as second. First one EPA second C.A.R.B compliant. Their argument was honda cr-v required C.A.R.B so, no refund on first cat due to selection error. Been regular customer for 10+ years and liked it better when they could afford a phone. I no longer buy from Rockauto. Better off at Amazon, Partsgeek, or eBay (if trouble they'll try to help).
