I have booked at least 5–6 skips with this company during my project. Delivery and exchanges were usually on time and worked well.
However, when my project finished and I requested collection, the waiting time became very long. Customer service told me it could take up to 5 working days, but it has now been 7 days including the weekend and the skip is still not collected, with no proactive update.
My house only has one parking space and the skip is currently occupying it, so my only concern is simply when it will be removed, especially as I want to avoid receiving any parking tickets.
During my call today, I also felt uncomfortable because the representative focused on correcting my English and said she could not understand me. English is not my first language as I am an Asian person living in London, but I was simply trying to ask when the skip would be collected. There seemed to be a misunderstanding and I was told that my attitude suggested her job “doesn’t matter,” which was not my intention at all.
Overall, deliveries were good, but the collection process and communication could be improved.
I work in the real estate investment and trading sector. I use skip a lot in every project. And of course, I will not return to this company for the next project
