Richer Sounds Cambridge is a very friendly and knowledgeable branch. I have been messaging them for the past year tailoring a suitable audio system for my budget. Even though I significantly went over my budget they were not pushy about this. Tom was very helpful throughout the purchase. The reason it is a 4 star rating rather 5 was largely due the not so great post-sale experience where I had to contact them a couple of times to check the system had arrived and ready for collection. Otherwise can't fault them. Purchased a CXC-CXA81 and Dali Oberon3 setup. Sounds great!

Good delivery great product

My order was placed over the phone and assistant who helped me was absolutely amazing. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

Went to discuss our need to replace our kitchen stereo and record turntable.
Olivia dealt with us and gave us a number of options. There was no hard sell but very informative advice and help. Following our conversation we did spend more than intended but came away knowing we had made the right decisions. Excellent service.

Unfortunately my Marantz Cinema 30 was broken when I've received it. It was supposedly after servicing anyway? Big dissapointment. Refund was pretty quick and manager Paul was very helpfull.

Have used RS many times but went into Camb store Tom was very helpful and professional ..

Great guys in the shop but didnt follow up on my order as rhey admitted they forgot.
Hence the low score...
Poor show Cambridge branch

I was given plenty of time to listen to amplifier so I could make a decision. It wasn't an expensive amp I couldn't have complained if the session was half as long.
But try to solve the static problem! I was getting enormous sparks, some sort of earthing must be possible

Excellent communication re: delivery and very prompt delivery. Our television arrived 5 days earlier than the original delivery date!

Great advice. Wanted a good sound quality home theatre system to go with Yamaha rear speakers we already have.
Paul recommended Marantz cinema 50 and after a demo we chose oberon 5's and centre speaker to match. All work well together and sound is excellent with clear vocals and deep bass.
Considering adding a sub in the near future and Paul recommended the Rel T5x to match the oberons.

Very helpful advice and simple ordering process.
After an in-store visit and chat, Olivia managed the follow up phone call and order which was simplicity in itself - and promotional discounts were applied without having to ask!

Great experience, as it is every time. I was given the time I needed to test the amp in the demo room, and also got prompt replies to my enquiries (big thanks to the store staff for the help and for putting up with me through what I think was a pretty loud demo). Love the new Roksan Atessa.

Simply cannot fault this company. Dealt with them several times throughout the years and they are always the most fuss-free, easy to deal with company. The staff are always friendly, and they actually know what they are talking about. Very refreshing that they train / employ actual experts to sell their products. I’ve dealt with many many different salespeople throughout the years and Richer Sounds always come out on top.

My most recent purchase in November was a Mitchell and Brown TV JB-24DVD1811ST and this fulfilled all my needs as a TV to wall-mount in my bedroom. As advertised, the picture quality is excellent!

I went into the Cambridge store to buy E11C in ear headphones and made my purchase. All perfectly straightforward. Thank you. I’m ready to upgrade my TV options so I sought and easily achieved a conversation on what’s the latest popular size of TV screen, options on siting, size of support table, stands etc. I’m inexperienced in this regard but was treated with respect and good humour, obviously an appropriate two way exchange on the humour. A pleasant experience in my day and I made a promise to return in the early New Year to arrange a purchase. I will be doing that and look forward to it.
