Avoid this company!

Avoid!

Called on a Monday for urgent fuel delivery as ours had unexpectedly run out over the weekend after an issue with the tank. Was told they could deliver on Thursday as an urgent case.

No fuel delivered on Thursday. Called again and was told it would be first thing Friday morning.

By Friday afternoon, still no fuel. Called again, was told the driver had decided to do his route backwards so we had been moved from first to last. They promised fuel would be with us before 4pm.

5pm rolls around, still no fuel. Contacted them again and was told the driver had clocked off for the week without finishing his route and there would be no delivery.

They now say they will deliver on Monday at the earliest... funnily enough I don't believe them. So much for urgent!

Over a week with no heat and no hot water. We can see our breath inside our house. Trying desperately to keep our three children bundled up and warm, especially our baby, never mind my disability that has been worsened by the cold temperatures to the point that I can barely function.

Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely zero integrity. When you pay for a service you expect to receive it, not them sit on your money and fail to deliver!

Absolutely appalling company

Absolutely appalling company, I pay a premium rate for a monthly top up to ensure I never run out. However, they only top up when it’s convenient for them. It’s now the 17th December and I’m still waiting for a top up from the end of November.
I have rung several times from the 3rd December till today and still no oil.
I am now told it will be the 19th December which is totally unacceptable. I have my son and his young family (6 yrs and a 6 month old) staying with us and we are expected to put up with no heating or hot water. I can’t imagine British Gas getting away with this!
I will be complaining to the ombudsman as they can’t continue to treat customers like this. In the meantime AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I reached out to you directly on several occasions, the first being on 3rd December as I knew we would run out and that it is a busy period for you. However, I was told you would get it there as soon as possible which then became the 16th December- bear in mind this delivery was due November- but if you could get here earlier you would. I received a text and email telling me you would be delivering on the 13th December. Better late than never methought. No delivery was made.
When I rang to see where it was I was told it would be the 16th, I rang to make sure on the 15th and again on the 16th. On the 16th I was told it would be the 19th!!
There can be no excuses left and I reiterate that I will be taking this matter to the ombudsman

Guaranteed delivery is not guaranteed by this outfit

Paid extra for delivery by Friday 26th January as our watchman was flashing red. I emailed to confirm delivery and was advised delivery was booked 26th January. Got home after work on 26th January and no delivery had been made, no phone call received. I rang and was told driver for our area was off sick. We had a very cold home all weekend. Shocking customer service as we weren't even notified. Definitely do not recommend this company, use the other fuel companies instead such as Carrs Billington, WCF, etc.

Unreliable

Delivered fine in June with no problems, refused to deliver this time due to a narrow drive then cancelled my order. Nice to be informed that on 18th December.

Heating oil delivery

Delivery arrived earlier than expected which was ideal as was running low on oil.
Delivery driver was polite and professional and an excellent driver in our narrow driveway and lane
