Thank you for your feedback.
We are sorry and disappointed that you would not recommend us as our team work really hard to deliver an exeptional service.
It would not be appropriate to go into the specifics of your repair here, however we are more than happy to discuss those with you again if you wish.
However, for context, it is important to consider factors that may be at play during a repair process.
'Like for like' replacements are only 'considered' by an insurer if the claim is 'non fault' (In such cases the insurer will decide, and if agreed, provide the replacement vehicle), or where specific policy arrangements have been agreed between the insurer and their insured. Sometimes this is not the end user such as in the case of company policies.
When a claim is 'fault' if, we are asked to assist with the provision of a courtesy car, it is provided free of charge by us, not by an insurer.
With regard to undriveable vehicles, when specialist independant recovery agents are appointed, if an appointment is not kept and contact cannot be made they will make an aborted charge. Payment for this has to be agreed before they will attend again.
Redelivery requirements following repair can depend upon the insurer instructions to us. However FOC redelivery was made to meet a specific time request.
Unfortunately many manufacturers can and do experience parts delays - if a vehicle is still driveable it will be booked in to coincide with the parts delivery. However, where a vehicle is recovered undriveable, an estimate is compiled, authority granted by the insurer and then parts can be ordered, manufacturer back ordered situations may then occur which, unfortunately can then cause delays.
