They are a scam…run…
They are absolutely shady with their business practices. You think you’re ordering one bundle and as soon as it delivered they charged me for another order one week out. It is impossible to fine where it says it’s an automatic subscription. It is not transparent or clear. I then went through 5 screens only for it to make me call to cancel and get a sales pitch to stay as a customer and then offer NO discount on what they sent me with no warning at $7 per shake. I would never order with them again and will tell anyone considering to run. Awful customer service and a total scam.
I like the smoothies
I like the smoothies, but don't like being ripped off I had my settings at deliver every 4 weeks I received an order a week later at full price. Not happy n hope someone will help me with this or I'm done with this company!
Their website is very sneaky
Their website is very sneaky. You can’t cancel without calling during business hours. It doesn’t tell you what you’re signing up for at the time of sign up like is it weekly, monthly etc. they charge you for the next delivery as soon as first one gets delivered and offers partial refund even if you call right after you get charged. Their customer service is very poor, rude and useless.
They do something to the fruit
Cups are lighter, fruit looks unnaturally bright and it sometimes comes with spoiled fruit. The part that really pisses me off is that they wont let you cancel until you call them and guess how long that takes. Thats scammy to me, I placed the order online I should be able to cancel online. Dont do it
This is the biggest scam out there
This is the biggest scam out there. If you order from them once, you are screwed. Every time you try to cancel, their site shuts you out, or some other bologna.
You will receive them after changing your card number and documenting cancellation, even after you change your card number.
Avoid
They put in the fine print within "terms and conditions" that this is a subscription-only service. I thought I was ordering one box and was automatically charged for another one without ANY notice from Revive. I read everything carefully and saw no such wording about a subscription. It feels like I was scammed. On top of that, the smoothies are not good. They are overly sweet and hard to make.
Suspect Subscription! Do not engage!
The smoothies are good-ish. Probably 3 stars. They have a fair bit of sugar. I'm used to Good Protein which has none. Not all the bits get blended (some are too small) so you have little chunks that get stuck. Each smoothie has a different recommended liquid (almond milk, coconut water) so you would have to buy all those to make them great maybe. The biggest issue is you are automatically signed up for a subscription and you have to call to cancel (after a bunch of computer steps). Somewhat sus! Going back to making my own from Good Protein.
Shitty smoothies and a huge scam
Shitty smoothies and a huge scam. They make it impossible to cancel. Stay away.
Difficult to cancel
They make it very difficult to cancel. They don't allow you remove your credit card details. Companies shouldn't make it more difficult to cancel than to subscribe; I thought another company lost a class action suit because of this type of behavior.
The smoothies were nasty
The smoothies were nasty. I only had one and it made me sick. I was unaware that I would be charged every month. I thought it was a one time purchase. We carful. When I called to let them know their product made me sick there was no empathy intact when I told them I had no idea it was a subscription they said I should have read the fine print. They shipped another box and charged my card. I requested an email confirmation of canceling and I was told they do not do this. Now no one will pick up to answer the call.
Stay away
Stay away! Recieved a box 2 days late and everything was rotten. They refused to refund and won't cancel account.
Can't Deliver Product On Time and Arrives Thawed
This has been a nightmare for the last 4-5 months with Revive. Its too bad. I have been a customer for 5+ years. We have loved their smoothies, but something has obviously changed at the company and they can not seem to get their deliveries right. In addition, their customer service is absolutely awful. It is clearly outsourced to a company that has no idea how to handle issues.
Over the last several months, every delivery has been at least a day late with the smoothies basically all thawed. 3 orders ago, the delivery never showed up at all. They gave me a credit, and the next delivered showed up late and was thawed and ruined. They said they would send out a replacement right away and asked if there were any days that it couldn't be delivered. I said Friday because I would be out of town starting Thursday night for the weekend. What happened? They scheduled it to be delivered on Friday because they have zero ability to understand logistics. Everything used to arrive on time like clockwork. My theory is that they are telling people it will arrive on a certain day, and then paying for 1 day longer of shipping to save money and hoping that the frozen items don't show up thawed.
As a long time and loyal customer, I am done with this, and I would highly suggest you look at other companies like Daily Harvest which is where I am going to start ordering from. It's too bad. My wife and I loved the smoothies for so long, but the company is simply unreliable at this point.
loved the smoothies
loved the smoothies! my so and I have every morning!!
They make impossible to cancel…
They make impossible to cancel subscription. Very hard to find how to cancel. Tried emailing them no one would answer, dispute of charges they fought and won. I would not by. There product is not that good.
Customer for years!
We have been getting these smoothies and meals for years now. My kids are very very picky eaters, but they're athletes and realize the importance of healthy food. They LOVE these smoothies and they're so easy to make before school and to send with them as they leave for school!
customer service sucks! Do not use unless you want a forever subscription!
This is an online service that does not allow you to cancel your subscription online. There is an area that you fill out and it ask you all the questions about why do you want to cancel? They also try to get you to change your mind by offering you different things. And when you hit the cancel button, it tells you that you have to call their company. They are not open 24 hours, they are not open on the weekends. Yes, they are open 12 hours a day during the week but I work every day of the week. I have things to do every day of the week and I’m finding it impossible to contact them. You cannot even contact them by email. They have a chat button, but it is not a real chat button. All it does is take you to help. That is fine. But my main issue is there is no way to cancel other than calling them. And they do not have something that remind you that a delivery is coming up. I get reminded because there is a charge on my credit card, that I cannot remove from the site either. As an online service, they should have the capability as almost any other online service does, to cancel online!
Scam
I recently ordered a box from Revive Superfoods, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I checked thoroughly before placing the order and saw no indication that it would automatically enroll me in a weekly subscription. To my surprise, I was charged for a second box without any prior notice. When I reached out to customer service, all I got was a “we’re sorry” and a suggestion to check their website. It’s frustrating that they don’t make this clear upfront. I’ll be filing a dispute with my credit card company to address the unauthorized charge.
On top of the subscription issue, the smoothies themselves are a hassle. The frozen fruit is packed in such a way that it forms a huge clump, making it impossible to fit into a Nutribullet cup without a struggle. It’s a huge inconvenience. Plus, every smoothie requires different liquids—coconut water, oat milk, chocolate oat milk, you name it. It’s not just one simple ingredient; you need a whole variety of liquids on hand to even make it work. Definitely not what I was expecting from a “convenient” smoothie delivery service.
I’m extremely frustrated and would not recommend Revive Superfoods to anyone looking for an easy, reliable smoothie experience. The subscription model is deceptive, and the product itself is far more trouble than it’s worth.
Revive superfood
First off, I got the order late and did not want it anymore. They tried to send another order but I didn’t feel safe drinking the smoothies. They fruit looked spoiled and nasty. I was scared that I would get sick or that someone would put something in my order after my complaint. These companies are held by foreign people who are not very legit and do fraudulent stuff. The fruit does not look good and it looks like they just put anything in the cup. They finally refunded my money but I thought the subscription was canceled. They change me again and don’t wanna refund me because they said it wasn’t canceled but the order wasn’t even sent out yet. They do this to without money and not have to refund. They clearly see in the 1st emails I didn’t want to do business with them after the 1st order. I’m going on tik tok to make some videos about this fraudulent company and the fake fruit. Stuff looks spoiled and nasty. I’m also calling the food drug and health administration.
High Protein Mango Smoothie. Buy again? YES
My husband and I are trying the Revive smoothies and reviewing. We’ve realized that we like very different textures and tastes. He likes sweet, rich, and thick smoothies. I like strong fruit flavour, less sweet, thin, easy on the stomach smoothies.
