While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

Digital evidence has grown 10–100x in the last decade — body-worn cameras on every officer, dash cams on every car, smartphones and doorbells recording every incident, and hours of 911, jail calls, and interviews in every case. But legal and law enforcement teams have not grown 10–100x with it, making it impossible to fully review cases with the time and staff available. Rev is the only economic way to keep pace. Our platform combines industry-leading speech recognition with AI that cites its sources, so every result is accurate, verifiable, and tied directly to the original file. We keep humans firmly in control — AI never replaces judgment, it supports it — giving legal and law enforcement professionals the clarity and time they need to make fair, informed decisions. And when precision matters most, optional human review adds an extra layer of assurance. Built with strict security protocols (CJIS, HIPAA, and SOC2) and zero data sharing with third party LLMs, Rev helps teams find the truth faster, move cases forward with confidence, and spend less of their lives stuck in playback and paperwork — while keeping responsibility for judgment exactly where it belongs: with them. The bottomline: Rev delivers fewer overtime hours, fewer missed details, faster case movement, and more sustainable workloads for the people responsible for applying judgment in the moments that matter the most.

Despite what they tell you

Despite what they tell you, they will use non-English speakers for your transcript which will result in a disaster. They will then refuse to refund your money or fix the problem. If you have multiple speakers, forget it.

Terrible service! Avoid at all Costs!

Terrible service which is no compliant with statutory requirements in the EU. Customer service are terrible. Basically, I requested captions and got 2 punctuation marks added for a cost of EUR 82. Wouldn't provide a refund so suing them now and reporting them to the relevant consumer protection body. See you in Court! Avoid at all costs and I say that as a first time and never again user!

Better communication needed between Rev…

Better communication needed between Rev and customer when something goes wrong (the first captions were, I found out later, unusable) - not just messaging with 'another 3 hours, definitely within 4 hours' and so which keeps people hanging on. Better to more clearly display the fast track option on the website as easy to miss.

I love rev.com for the quick turnaround times and ease of uploading to site, as well as ease of editing transcripts and cc files on the site.

No reminder for charges

No reminder of charges being made before they happen. As others have said, most respectful companies give you a heads up a few days before or will honour a refund if you’re not genuinely using their service.

Not a chance here. Customer service people use their terms of service as an excuse and say their hands are tied, which is not true.

Such a scam and would recommend people to use other providers - there are many out there these days!
