Don’t expect any customer service after you’ve paid

Tina Hough was extremely helpful, UNTIL we’d paid our premium. I’ve been trying to get a simple answer out of her, sending several emails, for almost a month without success. Very disappointing

Impressive Service

Firstly, we were most impressed with Sharon's cheerful telephone manner and her swift efficiency.
Our dealings with Jack Troman were also a delight and he took the time to really understand our needs. He sourced a most competitive quote and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
With such impressive service one hopes this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.

Uncommunicative and unhelpful

Unfortunately I can't give a great review of Residents Line on this occasion.

I was in touch with somebody called Jack Tromans and provided my details for a quote. Since providing those initial details I have found Jack to be uncommunicative and the level of customer service I've received to be poor. I never received any updates regarding a possible quote, and was only engaged with when I followed up by calling Residents Line. Even when I made follow up calls, I didn't find Jack to be very helpful in his advice.

I am in an unfortunate situation that a little under three years ago a large claim was made on the buildings insurance to my property by one of the other residents. Given this, Residents Line have evidently found it difficult to find an insurer that will provide a quote. I would have appreciated a degree of realism or frankness from Residents Line, instead of being just left in the dark for weeks on end - but instead they have wasted my time.

Another thing that shocked me was that after I had spoken to Jack I got a call from another member of staff at Residents Line saying they wanted to offer their services, and when I said that I had already got an open case he didn't seem to have any record on file apart from when I spoke to them in late 2022. This isn't very professional and shows poor data-handling and administrative practices.

I'm hoping I won't ever have to get buildings insurance for a block of flats again, as ideally by this time next year I will have moved to a house. But I certainly won't be recommending Residents Line as a broker to anyone I know who owns a flat.

Customer Service outstanding

Tina answered my call. She immediately called up our account and was incredibly quick to answer my questions. As a face of this company Tina is a wonderful representative and created a great impression.

Just like the old time - a company that listens and then delivers a first class respoonse.

The company proved itself to be both speedy and proactive in response to a request to set up four vital insurance policies for our apartment block, of which I am one of the directors on its management board. Not only that, Residentsline achieved significant cost savings from major players in the field. I first contacted the company online and was amazed at the speed of its response, the quality of the information provided and courtesy of the staff dealing with my queries.

Highly recommend

Highly recommend Residentsline. They continue to provide excellent service and competitive quotes. Tina is just amazing to deal with and makes my life as a Director of a self-managed freehold company so much easier.

I live in a block of 6 flats and have used Residentsline for over 10 years to renew our buildings insurance. The staff have always been extremely helpful and courteous anytime I have contacted them. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Very Competitive Buildings Insurance

Like most insurance policies our buildings insurance renewal quote had increased significantly from last year so this year I contacted more companies than usual for insurance quotes to get the best idea of what was competitive. Residentsline was significantly cheaper on a like for like basis than any of the other companies and so far have been very straightforward to deal with.

Building Insurance renewal

At a time when the increase in building insurance premiums is rising steeply, Residentsline went out of their way to get us the best deal available, including calling me personally to discuss the options. The same excellent service over many years that I have come to expect, though not the less welcome for that!

Very helpful.

We had to renew our company public liability insurance. Due to the sudden death of the director/finance administrator, the bank account could not be accessed for a few months. Residents line were very patient and understanding at every stage of process until it was eventually sorted out. Special thanks to Tina.

We've used residentsline to renew our…

We've used residentsline to renew our building insurance for two years in a row now for a large/complex block of flats. They've offered us a high level of service and have sourced competitive quotes on both occasions.

Based on the experience I've had on two occasions now, I can definitely recommend them.
