Not go! Money trap!

Your draft review clearly expresses your dissatisfaction with both the product and the customer service you received. It's direct and outlines your experience for potential customers to consider. However, if you're open to suggestions, slightly moderating the language could make your review sound more objective while still conveying your disappointment. Here's a revised version:

Purchased a custom bike from Republic Dutch for over 2500 euros, drawn in by the promise of unparalleled quality and service. Aesthetically, the bike is a masterpiece, truly beautiful. However, its performance is another story; it's challenging to ride, significantly slower than an older, heavier model, making my daily commute a source of frustration. The customer service experience matched the bike's performance - disappointing. Despite returning the bike twice, the owner's response was lackluster and dismissive, failing to resolve the fundamental issues. It's unfortunate, but investing a premium at Republic Dutch resulted in a bike that falls short of expectations and service that does little to amend the situation. I've had no choice but to seek repairs elsewhere, compounding my frustration. I recommend caution if you're considering a purchase here, especially if you prioritize both form and function in your cycling experience.

As aforementioned in the other reviews…

As aforementioned in the other reviews Amin is only nice if you pay him. Once he has your money he no longer cares about you. Furthermore he doesn’t make his own bikes he orders them form a busdienst called “hartje” and he paints over them and sells them as custom made. He’s a scam artist. You can tell by his google reviews and his responses to those reviews that he is an evil, heartless egomaniac Who will stop at nothing to scam you. BUYER BEWARE

Be very careful!!!!

Be very careful!!!!
Very beautiful bicycles, very promising people, unfortunately the bicycle that I ordered was all wrong: it was supposed to have black rear hub, black tires, black saddle and black handle grips, they all came brown. It was so different from what I ordered that at the first moment I thought that it was my bad memory so I took the bicycle, that I have to admit it is very beautiful.
When I got back home I checked the invoice and I had the confirmation that the bike was wrong, furthermore also the handlebar was wrong. You must think that I shouldn't have taken the bike, and most probably you are right. Anyway when I communicated the mistakes to the shop they replied:
"you took the bike with you so you are fine with it. The bike is produced to your sizes. so the components are choizen to that data."
So basically suck it up, they didn't even say they they were sorry!!!! ... and what about the 14 days European return policy?!?
I asked to change at least the handlebar as ordered and they proposed immediately (which is a good thing) via photo some options, but again different from the original ordered handlebar.
Also, the bicycle was ready at the end of July, but they failed to communicate that to me, I had to ask them at the end of August.
I work for an international enterprise and I am entitled to have a VAT/BTW refund due to an international MUO with Belgium that is extended to all european countries. Right at the beginning of my deal with Republic Dutch I asked if they were aware of it and they were willing to apply it: they said right away yes! unfortunately it turned out that this exemption doesn't apply in the Netherlands (?!?), so I have also lost 500€. With this regard, I have been accused between the lines to force them to break the laws.
One more thing, the electric motor of the bicycle is connected to an app: it doesn't work. I told them this issue and they sent me a picture of the setting they did and so long. The connection with the app still doesn't work.
It is very sad because it is a great experience to enter the shop, being treated like a king at the beginning and ordering a bicycle down to the smallest detail. On the other hand now I hardly can look that the bicycle, I almost hate it.
