On my firdt day in my property, I noticed that, I do not have shower head in my bathroom. Toilet not flushing properly, a big crack on my living room wall. Reported to redrow, they came and fix the issues straight away.

Some issues were okay, however there should be more transparency and efficiency. It is taking me almost 2 months to settle in as still waiting for things to be fixed. The idea of doing DIY myself is off putting as I hate it. Some people may like it, not for me. Been a hassle. Very stressful.
Sales (K) and customer care manager (R) were very nice and helpful.

Our journey to buying our new home lasted almost twelve months. Not a great scenario, but we decided on a plot we really wanted so were prepared to wait until it was ready.
To be honest, we couldn’t have asked for a better marketing team. From start to finish thanks to Ellie, Georgia, Abby and Hannah for their professionalism, knowledge and support. All were extremely tolerant particularly over the final few months which consisted of numerous discussions about kitchen worktops. Been in our new home three weeks now and our customer care representative Connor is doing a fantastic job.
We feel the house has been finished to a high standard and the customer service matches that. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new build to consider a Redrow Property.

Hi, we recently bought a new home from Redrow at kessington gate Worcester as a part of their part exchange scheme.I am extremely delighted that the whole process was very smooth & our transition to new home was very successful.Donna, Julie & Rossana at the site office are always welcoming & helpful.I love to see them again & again, they’re always smiling & doing their best to streamline the process of sales & purchase.I am so excited & settled to this place, my house is gorgeous & we’re very close to Malvern hills.I do want to mention that Redrow has send plumbers to us in no time to fix the minor issues & they’re all just away for a call.Excellent customer service & well designed & high quality materials used by Redrow.wish I could give them more than 5 stars 🌟 Thank you so much ! Special thanks for Donna who was dealing with our sale !
Kind Regards,

Simply put, disappointing.
In September 2025 myself and my husband reserved the last plot at Midsummer Meadows in Warwick. Looking back we were pushed somewhat but we wanted the house so didn’t see a problem. We were told we had to reserve the property by 3pm on the Sunday and pay a £1000 deposit. We were away that weekend and couldn’t get a connection to reserve the property online. The sales associate said that she could ‘check’ all of the boxes and then it would allow us to pay the deposit. Like I said, we wanted the house but hindsight!
Unfortunately about 4 weeks later our buyer pulled out. I spoke with Redrow who said not to worry, these things happen, and to keep them updated with any potential buyers. The sale of our house took a long time but every few weeks I’d be in touch with Redrow either by them calling me or me emailing with updates. Just before Christmas I was told by Julie, our contact, that she had been instructed to start calling other potential buyers as we hadn’t found a buyer. Despite this, I continued to get phone calls asking for updates so assumed no one was in a position to buy it.
On the 28th April 2026 I received an email from my solicitor with the attachment of an email from Redrow’s solicitor, Gateley Legal, advising them that myself and my husband had cancelled our reservation, we had not. I spoke with my solicitor and then called Redrow Royal Gardens, Worcester, as this is where our contact Julie was now based. She advised me that as the sale had taken so long, it had been sold! I asked how it is possible to sell a house that is reserved for another family, the excuse was that whilst ‘the system was down a few weeks ago’ it happened? She then blamed the Barratt Homes takeover with systems merging. I was actually speechless. I asked for my deposit back to which she said she didn’t know if I’d get it. I then went back to the drawing board and got on Rightmove (we’d just accepted an offer on our house the day before). Low and behold I find my house, that I had reserved, on Rightmove, listed with a company called Move + in Colchester for £30K less than we’d agreed to buy it for. It had been listed on the 6th March 2026. Eight weeks before we were advised someone else had bought it. It had not been bought by another family, it had been sold to a company which deals with part exchange and assistant moves. I suspect it was sold in February/early March to have the money in Redrow’s bank for year end!
Again I phoned Redrow Royal Gardens and asked for my deposit back. On the 2nd May, Donna from Royal Gardens phoned asking for my bank details to issue the refund. I asked if it would be the full £1000, she said no, it would be for £700. I explained that I did not cancel the reservation and expected the full amount to be returned. Then on the 6th May, Julie emailed asking me to fill in a customer bank transfer form for the refund. Why had Donna taken my bank details? Apparently it now needs to be a form? It seems no one knows what they’re doing.
I raised a complaint on the 30th April, I have heard nothing. I have chased both Julie and Becky O’Connor, who acknowledged the complaint on the 1st May, but have had no reply and as of today, I still haven’t had the money back.
I cannot take away the fact that Redrow were patient when we lost our buyers in October and kept in touch, but what I cannot accept is the lies that have been told since we found out the house had been sold that we had reserved. I still don’t know how that happens when you have money on the property to hold it! I have all of the emails where I have been lied to, chased people, screenshots that show the house was listed at the beginning of March, emails that have gone unanswered.
A simple apology at the beginning would have saved all of this, but all we’ve had is lies and passing the buck. Not good Redrow, really not good practice.

The quality of the staff, from sales to site team make a stressful process much easier to navigate. Quality of the property is exactly what you expect from Redrow.

Extremely disappointed with both the workmanship and customer service experienced with Redrow at the Knutsford Tabley Park development.
Since moving into our new-build property, we have faced constant issues and ongoing snagging problems that still remain unresolved. Redrow have dug up both sides of our house during previous snagging and drainage works and never properly reinstated the ground afterwards, leaving areas unfinished and untidy. They also removed the “For Sale” sign from the front garden and simply left a large hole in the lawn which has still not been rectified.
At our homebuyers meeting, our main requests were that the property had working showers and heating. On the day we received the keys, we had no hot water at all, which has since been rectified, but it was a massive disappointment on what should have been an exciting and positive day.
We have also experienced ongoing issues with the garden, unfinished snagging items, and poor aftercare. The garden itself was an additional cost on top of the property purchase price, which makes the standard of work even more disappointing. The lawn was poorly laid from the beginning and is now patchy, uneven, full of weeds, and unsafe for children to play on due to the uneven ground and sharp weeds throughout. Despite raising these concerns repeatedly, we continue to be offered temporary cosmetic fixes rather than proper rectification.
There have also been ongoing issues with both the front and back doors, which still remain unresolved and present a genuine security concern. Someone attended months ago after we were locked inside our own property due to the faulty door, inspected both doors, and confirmed that they were not fit for purpose and would need replacing. We were told new doors would be ordered, however since then the issue has been removed from the snagging list despite no work being completed, and we have still received no updates whatsoever regarding when this will actually be rectified.
The shower tray is also not level, which is yet another snag that has been repeatedly raised but left without proper rectification.
We have also noticed poor workmanship throughout the property, including uneven and unstraight screw fittings on the banister and poor edging around the tile work, which reflects an overall lack of attention to detail.
Communication from customer service has been extremely poor throughout — calls are rarely returned, emails often go unanswered, and concerns are frequently ignored or only partially addressed.
When tradespeople do attend, they often arrive not knowing what they have actually come to fix and regularly do not have the correct parts with them. We are repeatedly told someone will return to complete the work, only for nobody to come back or provide any updates.
We also paid for an aerial to be fitted as part of the property purchase, however this was not installed on completion and it took over seven months for somebody to finally attend and fit it.
Another major concern has been the heat pump system installed in the property. The system was incorrectly programmed from the outset, leading to massively inflated and completely unnecessary electricity bills. Rather than receiving proactive support, I had to repeatedly chase and fight for somebody from the actual manufacturer to attend and rectify the issue properly.
On top of this, we were left with no heating for an entire weekend because the emergency out-of-hours team did not have engineers properly trained to deal with heat pump systems. This was particularly unacceptable given there was a baby in the property at the time. While the issue was eventually resolved, the lack of preparedness and support during what should have been an emergency situation was shocking.
What has made matters worse is the inconsistency in how issues are handled. another resident experienced similar garden problems and had remedial works carried out by an alternative contractor, yet I am being pushed back towards the original contractor despite already losing confidence in their workmanship after multiple failed visits.
To make matters even more frustrating, several snagging items previously raised have disappeared from the portal without being resolved, meaning we now have to spend more time resubmitting issues that should already have been dealt with.
At no stage have we felt genuinely listened to or treated like valued customers. We remained patient and reasonable throughout this process, but months later we are still chasing basic issues that should never have existed on a brand-new property.
Based on our experience, future buyers should carefully consider Redrow’s aftercare, communication and workmanship quality.

Great customer care from the Team especially Donna Sabin.
I really am impressed with Redrow and their professionalism.
The Baslow home which I bought is perfect for my present situation and I’m so happy with the standard, furnishings etc.

The Marketing Suite team were excellent, knowledgeable and tolerant of probably a few silly questions. A valuable walk through ahead of Completion and a follow up two weeks' after to identify any snags.

I am currently in the process of buying a redrow property and it has been such a smooth and quick process. The sales, site and customer care team have all been so helpful and friendly, they have made it a really nice experience.
The home tour was really informative and James was really knowledgeable about everything in the property. I also did my pre completion inspection at the same time and Sam was so helpful assuring me any snag no matter how small would be looked at prior to completion.
The homes are finished to such a high quality and the customer service matches that. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new build to consider a Redrow property.

We had a fantastic experience working with Matt throughout our house purchase in Arden Fields Bulkington. From the very beginning, he truly went above and beyond to support us at every stage. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine care made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable.
Matt was always available to answer questions, provide reassurance, and guide us through any uncertainties with patience and professionalism. His kindness and dedication really stood out, and it’s honestly hard to imagine completing this purchase without his help. In fact, we genuinely feel that we may not have gone ahead with the purchase if it hadn’t been for his support and commitment.
I should also mention that I can be quite a difficult customer at times, but Mat handled everything with incredible professionalism and understanding. He remained calm, respectful, and solution-focused throughout, which we really appreciated.
We’re extremely grateful for all his efforts and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, supportive, and genuinely outstanding property professional.

From the time we were interested in the ‘Richmond’ house we were supported by Donna, right though to selling our house and exchanging contracts even when our first buyers backed out she was still reassuring and helpful. We couldn’t wish for a better team at Kensington Gate at Worcester

We completed in September 2025, on the Tabley Park development in Knutsford.
The day we were given the keys. None of the snags, issues that were picked up on the home buyers preview were done. Despite the assurance that they would be.
This was day one of the start of many problems and issues. We had a leak in the garage, garage door wouldn’t close. A leak in the front door. Three out of three showers did not work. The underfloor heating wasn’t working properly. The hallway paint was left dirty, marked and chipped throughout.
The second bedroom floor you was hitting pipe work when you stepped on the floor. As a result we were unable to move in as agreed.
We arranged for our own snagging surveyor. Who picked up a long list of snags. Which was given to Customer care and the site manager to be acted on.
Following this. We had persistent failings on the heating and underfloor heating. We was having to up the pressure on the water tank several times a day. Despite our concerns we had a leak. This was dismissed. Played down and we were given excuse after excuse. Sent so many contractors in the home, to keep upping the pressure. Despite it being very clear there was a leak. It took them over two months to finally investigate, after us finding a leak and water damage to the new carpet in the snug. On investigation they found that a screw was in one of the pipes. Leaving the room needing remedial work and a brand new carpet ruined.
In addition to this, in the same room (snug) we had two leaks come through the snug’s ceiling from water pipes. We were then left with a ruined brand new sofa and more corrective work to replace the ceiling and paintwork.
There was also a leak in the cupboard from the pipe work controls for the underfloor heating. That again like the other leaks and issues, we had so many repeated visits to our property to resolve the issue. Only to have to get them back out.
We have been left with so many outstanding snags and issues. Paving needing replacing front and back. Rendering was not painted properly before we completed. We have been waiting since January for this to be remedied, despite raising this with the site manager after a couple of weeks of us completing on the property. Garage door, also needs repainting. We have had constant guttering issues, rusty mechanisms on both the front and back doors. All windows except two had to be replaced on the lower back of the house. Gales blowing through the personel door, despite consistently asking for assistance with it.
This is not an exhaustive list. We have had some contractors, sent into the home to attend to faults and snags, that have been amazing and couldn’t fault them. However unfortunately on many occasions where work has been remedied, we have been left with either work not being completed, other issues, or the work was completed to a really poor standard. Which has been extremely time consuming, frustrating and disappointing.
From day one. We have been passed from pillar to post. Given excuses after excuses. Messages, emails, phone calls ignored. Despite having three ports of calls as contacts including the head of customer care. We are still being ignored, the last contact being the 13th of March, which consisted of us asking for a reply of the previous emails, phone calls we had made to ask when this work is going to be completed.
We have been let down so badly here, we have repeatedly put our trust and faith in your promise to give us the home we believed we were purchasing.

Several weeks ago, I raised with Redrow the ongoing misuse of privately maintained areas on The Maltings estate in Llantarnam, Cwmbran—spaces that all residents are required to fund through service charges.
After contacting the council to ask whether they would consider adopting the land, their response was clear: Redrow has chosen not to submit the Section 38 agreement that would allow the adoption process to begin. Redrow’s only reply to me was a single, dismissive message stating that the estate was always intended to remain privately managed. In other words, they intend to continue using FirstPort and their contractors, at considerable and ever‑increasing cost to residents.
One week ago, I emailed Redrow again, requesting that they at least install signage on the road and in the play area to deter ongoing misuse of facilities that residents are paying to maintain. I have received no response.
In practice, once you have purchased a property from Redrow, they appear to have little interest in addressing legitimate concerns—yet they continue to profit from the management arrangements they have put in place.
I have already produced a video, published on Dailymotion, documenting the poor standard of maintenance carried out by FirstPort and their contractor, Community Property Care. I now intend to create a blog detailing Redrow’s ongoing lack of engagement, with the aim of drawing wider attention to the issues residents are facing.
