Can't even use their promos whenever I'm about to checkout already. Such a waste of time using their app booking a hotel.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - UNHYGEINIC AND UNSAFE
My experience with one of their properties (Agaru Villa Uluwatu by The Lavana) was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. There was no one at reception, no housekeeping, and the shower only produced scalding hot water, making it unusable. The bedding had visible black mould, and the water bottles provided were already opened and contaminated, which made me ill for over a week.
The conditions were so bad that I had to leave the property early and find alternative accommodation. I provided photographic evidence, but the hotel refused to provide a refund, even though the room was clearly unfit for occupancy.
The conditions were unsafe, unsanitary, and completely misrepresented online. This was by far the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in during my travels, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience. I strongly advise other travellers to avoid it.
I booked 1 day in advance. On the day itself i talked to people on site saving quantum guest house does not exist. In the evening red doorz writes me a message that due to operational issues they changed the booking to another location, and that booking.com must let them know if I accept the offer, otherwisethey could not cancel. In the mean time I already arranged another hotel off course. The only thing i can do is see if they charge my creditcard. If they do, I offcourse let visa cancel the transfer
I couldn't have asked for a worse experience.
Ozora Guest House, Denpasar, Bali.
Location is where we planned for - no issues there. Service was sub standard. Where the issues really come up is how FILTHY this property is. The photos online are a LIE. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but in this case a fair warning is required. This place is an absolute dump. Rotting pool furniture in the pool, algae in the pool, rooms sold as non smoking have had smokers smoking in them. Shared areas and facilities are an embarrassment. The photos I took on arrival tell the truth. After 2 hours with Agoda Support and the On Site Manager I'm now being told that another Manager needs to approve a refund which will be a bank transfer (I've seen too many bank transfers reversed or not done at all - my gut tells me not to trust this hotel). DO NOT STAY HERE!
This does not deserve even 1 star! Booked via agoda and when my father was checking in, he was refused entry and was told they are not affiliated with Agoda. Why does Agoda even advertise this crap and deduct the money when this hotel won't even honor the confirmed booking! This is unacceptable!!!
Shame you can't give negative stars as this company would receive -5 stars.
We booked 2 Villas (self contained shack) at a resort managed by RedDoorz, but booked through Agoda.
When we arrived at the resort we were shown 2 ROOMS. Upon questioning the staff/manager they had no idea about the booking and had to contact the owner in Canada.
Once we established contact the owner showed (and subsequently sent) us an email from RedDoorz, categorically stating only 2 ROOMS to be booked, yet when we checked the Agoda booking confirmation, it showed that 2 VILLAs were actually booked (and paid for - $500+AUD).
Suffice to say we went elsewhere, the rooms were small (family of 8) and the 'cooking area' was disgusting with broken tiles, mouldy and not seeming to have been cleaned for weeks.
Upon requesting a refund from RedDoorz they stated that we only booked 2 rooms, but when shown the booking confirmation from Agoda (showing 2 villas booked) they didn't reply any further.
Only upon threatening legal action after 2 weeks of not hearing from RedDoorz we were finally contacted by Agoda (whom I kept informed as they were party to this) stating that they (Agoda) would now be handling this and confirming we were eligible for a full refund as RedDoorz were the ones at fault for incorrect information sent to the resort (via the owner) as was shown by the email sent to the owner.
Hoping to have this resolved 'soon' and our money refunded.
TL;DR- DO NOT BOOK WITH REDDOORZ. Completely unreliable.
If you book reddoorz via agoda you get a nice conformation from reddoorz via agoda.
But when you arrive at the hotel they dont know you at that hotel and you need to travel to a much cheaper hotel . Without Anny notification.
I sit now in reddoorz bonefaciusstreet Cebu city when i paid for reddoorz Jones avenue.
