100% a scam - bought a one off item for $2.99, then they charged $28 2 weeks later as an automated subscription.
I was tricked or scammed into a membership when I ordered the cheesecake collection from Recipetour for 2.99 usd. Then 2 weeks later I was charged $34.36 on my card for the subscription which I never knowingly signed up for.
I had no idea this would be an ongoing subscription. I ordered a $3 book and ended up paying over $50 with an ongoing subscription
SCAM under a cover. A colorfull recipe book on cheesecakes offered for 99c. Eventually fell for it - only when reading the email message, you realise you've signed up to a membership of $20 a month unless cancelled. The recipe book isn't even what was promised. No pictures to go with it as in advert. Was no indication of me approving anything UNLESS you perhaps read the Terms and conditions.
Signed me up for something I did not want.
Manipulative scam
I recently bought some recipes they advertise on Instagram, during my purchase they activated a membership I didn't sign up for, lucky I could get my refund from them, but actually a month later they made a second charge in the card with no reference of the commerce I reported it and the bank said it is scam
