Scam and fraudulent

Stay away from them
I always Use VCC for free trials to test platforms and see if they're a good fit, and not waste time on removing the payment details once the trial expires.. Anyway I used a VCC (Virtual credit card) And i tried a free trial.. The links were okay but i ended up having no use to them so i just ditched the platform.. Then i see later one the company tried to bill over $100 when their plan starts at $12.. Anyway they basically scum, They will lean you onto free trial and if you put details They will put you on their most expensive package or charge you.. Stay away from them

The website in question demonstrates several commendable qualities. Its user-friendly interface ensures easy navigation, enhancing the overall browsing experience.
SCAM
I paid for an annual subscription. Once you paid, they tell you how limited your options are, and they push you to keep upgrading your membership to get what you need. Their reports are a scam, a nightmare to set up and highly inaccurate. Customer service level is low and after hours of trying to get any help, you get nowhere. There claims are misleading and it's a scam
Scam on subscription renewal
Rebrandly subscription renewal policy is a scam with 3 times the amount auto-charged of initial suscribed plan and not even aligned with their price list on their website.
The customer service seems completely unconcerned by the issue and ask to switch plan on a self-service mode .... that requires additional payment to downgrade the plan !!
This is definitely a service provider to avoid !
Just awful
Just awful. Too expensive, no modern features onboard and they always push you to buy more and more. Moved to another service
Dirty sales tactics & Overpriced
Rebrandly was fine until an affiliate program I use changed platforms. I had about 150 links I needed to update to use the new URL scheme. There isn’t a way to filter links by the destination URL, so it was really tedious to edit the first 50. Then I found out my plan was limited to 50 link edits per month! That totally blindsided me. It seems absurd that they limit how many times you can edit a link, especially since I was paying $119/month. The only way to update more than 50 links was to contact them for custom enterprise pricing. At this point, I realized I had to let 100 affiliate links break (not an option) or leave Rebrandly. Then things got worse. I found out that Rebrandly has no export option! The only way to get your links out of Rebrandly is to use a Python script they share in the developer documentation. In my opinion, the ability to export links should have been included in Rebrandly the day it hit the market, and its exclusion is a dirty sales tactic to try and keep you trapped on their platform. Luckily, I am a software dev (not a Python dev, mind you), so I was able to figure it out, but anyone who isn’t a dev would have to hire someone on Upwork just to get their links out of this platform!
The product is overpriced and average, but the sales tactics they employ are just terrible. Avoid doing business with this company.
They totally deserve better reviews!
They totally deserve better review scores!
I like very much that I can have my URL shortened or with a redirect... with my own domain name.
Instead of the usual bit.ly, or goo.gl - which makes the link look too suspicious to click on it. It's a complete black box for the other side to know what's on the other side of those links.
So I would definitely use Rebrandly above the alternatives!
A Customer Honeypot
They provide crazy good pricing, but once its time to pay "oh we do not support that domain anymore".
This is false advertising and your team should be ashamed of doing that.

Fraudulent transactions by REBRANDLY.COM
I was scammed by some company called REBRANDLY.COM. Via Etsy, the obtained my credit card details and put x3 fraudulent transactions through. Next to each transaction it had what looked like a phone number +35383827279. I am in Australia!

Fast and seamless
Fast and seamless, hop-less, forwarding/redirection. Metrics are excellent and the ability to change underlying links (i.e. think domainDOTcom/eventname but after this year the link is useless because you have a new event next year......nope....With rebrandly you can re-point the short link). Fibally, the site is so easy to wotk w ith. And so cleanly designed.

We have been using this tool for years…
We have been using this tool for years without any issues. And, even though the pricing changed recently we were able to get support and negotiate a fair price. The Rebrandly team was also super helpful in sorting some technical issues we encountered during our peak trading times. Overall we feel confident that this collaboration will continue to be succesfull in future!

Drastically upgraded my plan without my consent
Without my explicit consent, they automatically transferred me to a 4 times more expensive plan, claiming that it was enough that they sent an email notification. Although I previously used their smallest package as little as possible, they said the new package was the closest to my requirements. Of course, they didn't want to refund. Fraudsters!
BEWARE - Boomer sales tactics trying to make a buck
BEWARE - Predatory sales tactics.
We signed up to test and see if Rebrandly was a good fit for our business. Within less than 10 (!) minutes, realized it wasn't, and emailed support to cancel the account and get a refund. We were promptly refused and pointed to the "Terms Of Service" that we agreed to.
Sure... If we used the app for a few weeks, or maybe even a good few days, that's fine. But otherwise - this is some BOOMER sales tactics. Support team didn't even bother to answer properly, just sent a canned response about "sorry absolutely no refunds even if you used the app for 10 seconds. next time book a demo. goodbye!".
No customer service, very rigid system
I signed up for the 3 domain plan. I made an error creating one of my domains. They have no ability to remove a domain from your plan. The only option is to either wait a year + 70 days for a domain registration to expire or to upgrade to the next level plan which costs 3 times more. Neither option is acceptable after spending several hundred dollars for the service.
Terrible. Unreliable. Expensive. High & Dry.
Terrible.
-I spent months going back and forth with their accounts team. We were paying $250/mo, they told us we could pay $99.
-Then, price increased to $119 with 7 days notice.
-For the last 2+ years, when we went over a certain amount of links per month, we were billed accordingly for the overage
-Now, we cannot create any more links until next month, unless we pay $4299 up front for the year.
-Chat support team didn't see the urgency that our platform is down, because of this.
-We are forced to now code a new short link system urgently, so our users aren't affected.
With processes like this, and amateur pricing + support tactics, I don't think Rebrandly is as big as they advertise.
We are looking into other platforms / git repos to build our own for free
There's better options out there.
Was a paid Rebrandly user for a couple of years. They've now jacked up their prices with barely any warning. Features haven't changed at all in the time I've used the service, so don't see any reason pricing should go up. Have moved on to short.io, which is not only free, but has MORE features than I had on my paid Rebrandly service.
Be aware!
Get to ready to time to time get informed that their pricing goes up, and the important features move to more expensive plans. There are even free service providers deliver more features comparing to their mid-level premium plans. When we complained to the customer service that why the bulk add feature no longer exists for us and as a legacy user we are not happy, he suggested us to terminate the account and use other services.
This company is shady
This company is shady. If your account goes into an overage state, you do not get ANY notification emails specifically about this, so if you have different people managing the usage of the account vs. the bill payments, you will be paying a lot of money without ever knowing it. Our $29/mo subscription had gone up to $200 before we realized what was going on.
They also make it impossible to simply cancel your subscription via the user interface, instead forcing you to initiate a support request with a bunch of automated replies.
Rebrandly: it can ruin your campaigns
Rebrandly can ruin your campaigns. Really. I used the link shortener and tracking feature in PR materials for a critical campaign I sent. One of the contacts notified me that not only were the links not working, but they were pointing to a scammy expired domain page. I could verify it by myself. Even worse was that I had checked everything before, and it seemed to be working, and just after sending my campaign, the links became broken.
I am pretty astonished. I feel you ruined a PR campaign; I had to modify all the materials, then contact everyone again, apologising for the inconvenience and sending the old, regular, working links. For the ones working in PR, they know what this means.
Sometimes the old-fashioned, not trackable, and less pretty solutions seem better. It was a technology lesson. I deleted all the links and closed my account. I don't think I will ever use a link shortener and tracker again —end of a sad story.
