Strong warning to avoid Ray-Ban as a company. I received a pair of their glasses for Christmas as a gift, within 2 weeks the hinge broke. I brought them back to the store, they were super nice and said it was covered by warranty and to apply online. He even gave me his name. I did that, and corporate rejected the warranty (didn't say why) and offered me a link to buy them again. I went to their support department who had the same story, we can't help. Paying almost $300 for a pair of glasses, to be lied to about the warranty, and wasting hours of time with support people passing the buck is the worst customer experience I've ever had from a designer brand. Avoid at all costs.

I am extremely disappointed with Ray-Ban's customer service. I was promised a price match after finding the exact same product $100 cheaper, yet that promise has not been honored. Since then, I have called multiple times only to be put on hold for long periods, transferred endlessly, or hung up on altogether.
There is no accountability, no follow-up, and no effort to resolve the issue. If a company makes a promise, it should stand behind it -- especially at Ray-Ban's price point. This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable.
I expected far better from a brand with this reputation. Until Ray-Ban improves its customer service and actually honors its commitments, I would not recommend purchasing directly from them.

The initial purchase of my prescription glasses and delivery was great, no complaints there.
it was where the frames cracked and a warranty request was raised that things went downhill. I was told it would take 15 days, once the order was received to resolve my claim. It’s now two and a half months later. I have tried phoning, you don’t get any answers, just excuses and apologies.
I have tried raising a complaint, no one answers these.
I have tried contacting them through social media – don’t bother.
I have asked for an escalation – again waste of time
The service portal has no information my request status “unable to evaluate”.
It may be simpler to get laser eye surgery and cut my losses

After purchasing a premium product, THE META RAYBAN DISPLAY GLASSES FROM AMERICANA STORE IN LA, I encountered an issue that should have been straightforward to resolve under warranty replacement as it’s only two weeks old Instead, the process was slow, unclear, and unnecessarily frustrating.. they told me NO REPLACEMENTS AS ITS. EXCLUSIVE ITEM?? Communication was poor, responses were delayed, and I repeatedly had to chase for updates with no clear resolution or accountability via email.
For a brand that positions itself as high-end and charges premium prices, the level of after-sales support is unacceptable. I felt like once the sale was made, customer care became a low priority.
I expected professionalism, transparency, and efficiency — none of which were delivered. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the brand, and I would think twice before purchasing Ray-Ban again.
If you’re considering buying Ray-Ban products, be aware that if something goes wrong, getting support can be far more difficult than it should be.

I got some original tanned ray ban. My kids saved up for me as I’m a YouTube reviewer (up and coming) I used the cameras and after 4 weeks the arms broke and the lenses and frames destroyed. I couldn’t take them back as my kids bought me and didn’t want me to know price. So my dream raybans is over - I have 5 kids and they saved their pocket money svd birthday for 2 years. Anyway no hard feelings. Still love bans. It’s just the kids feel like they let me down. Could you write then an email to say accident happened and it’s not their fault. I’m saving up for some more. Who knows I might get some Chinese fakes.

So be careful when you buy Ray ban sunglasses!!! 165£ - 14 months in there are smudge spots on both lenses that Ray Ban can’t explain - they have said sun cream can cause this ??? Here’s the thing unless you keep proof of purchase you are not getting a replacement on your 24 month warranty-the credit card receipt wasn’t accepted - I won’t be buying another pair !!!!
I’ve now sent two replies as requested but have had no feedback at all!!!
I assume Ray Ban only put comments on to pacify disappointed customers!!!!

Bought a pair of prescription sunglasses. They bothered my nose. Thought just out of adjustment. Dealt with it best I could. After feeling the frames. They are defective. Large lip running down middle of frame. 300$ down the drain. Bought from Walmart and they said they can't/won't do anything to fix problem

Bought AI raybans...they arrived timely but they didn't turn on even after charging overnight. I've requested a substitution and they've agreed to issue a new pair but i haven't heard from them since (it's been ages) on the website its impossible to find contacts to a human...it's all useless bots or page redirecting in circle...I regret having bought these glasses with them. I hope i don't lose my money...

Bought a Rayban x Meta gen 1 and I'm so satisfied with the quality.
It is impossible to speak with a human, all communication appears AI generated. The order I
was not what I received, it was wrong in every way.
Wrong size, wrong design and wrong color. I returned
them immediately and was told I would receive a refund. To date, over 10 days later, I am still told the
refund was issued. The only communication continues to be via AI generic responses. They, Ray Ban, are HORRIBLE!

Absolute disgrace of a company. For a premium product the delivery times of over three weeks are shocking. Tried to cancel my order when it was ‘pending’ after a week to be told it was too late? Yet two weeks later the goods are in France seemingly being delivered to Northern Ireland by push bike. I would highly recommend avoiding this company and finding someone else who appreciates your business. Safe to say the goods will be returned when they eventually arrive some time this year. Shambles!

I purchased two pair of your glasses from Walmart and paid to have the prescription installed. These were the worst quality glasses I've EVER experienced. I attempted to correct the issue with Wal-Mart to no avail. The quality of these glasses were worst than reading glasses I purchase from the dollar stores

The entire experience is beyond horrible.
It took literally 2 DAYS to place my order in October. First, the website was non-functional, freezing, not loading, etc. For HOURS. THEN, when I finally get the item in my cart, I add the promo code that was advertised for new customers. This removed the sale price. And it stuck. Permanently. It took two days of deleting cookies and using another browser, contacting support (which was zero help) to get the glasses ordered. I get them and the frames rattle in the lenses. Not occasionally. ALL THE TIME. The lenses are clearly too thin for the channel in the frames. So.. I finally decide to file a warranty claim. To do so required creating a SECOND account login. putting in all my info. And taking not one, but THREE photos (required). The order number is ... well, why even ask for it when I still have to input all my info allll over again. Yep, nothing was retrieved from the actual order number. They use completely different systems for orders and claims. The entire system is designed to deter warranty claims. I will NEVER by Ray Bans again.

Bought a giftcard, couldnt return it and it did not state anywhere that it was not refundable and the terms and conditions for giftcards on the website is very difficult to locate and hidden

You have been warned, after placing an order for prescription Metas…I was advised 3 days later that the frames were out of stock and they had cancelled the order…even when similar frames(shiny black rather than matte) were available.
After contacting the woeful customer service which took an age to get back I was advised that as the refund had been actioned I would just have to reorder and then advise them of the new order number to transfer the prescription.
This was done bud transposed an incorrect value, as it was too late and to just return them once they arrived…just absolutely terrible.
Have now bought the frames from Currys and bought prescription lenses from Lensology…altogether saving nearly £110.
Great glasses, terrible service 🤷♂️

After my daughter damaged her sunglasses lens, the customer service to obtain a replacement lens was deplorable. No direct person can help you. When I order it, the wrong size came in, and returning the wrong size lens was horrible. I went to a lens crafters for the return, and no order could be found. Had to do it through mail, and it took two extra weeks. I am so upset and will NEVER purchase from RayBan again.

Had some raybans and was just walking around and a lens fell out in long grass , obviously a manufacturing fault and I tried to take them back to get new lenses of which I was offered lenses for 300aed when I purchased the glasses to be told the lenses are now 1200aed which is practically the same price as the sunglasses themselves , won’t be purchasing again
